this makes a great backpacking shirt but after 6 weeks in New Zealand living out of a suitcase it became my favorite travel shirt also. it is comfortable, dries super fast and even looks good. i also think that it is a bit of a status shirt among many - sort of like wearing Arcteryx but with less bling.

Bought for wife so she wouldn't keep mine. Got mine for sailing and she for fly fishing. keeps sun off skin and still keeps you cool at the same time. Great for us with sensitive skin.

Please ask the company to still carry the more relaxed fit model of this shirt. My husband only wants that fit. Older men need the extra room around their bodies for air flow and to keep cool. Older men have a larger waist size than younger men. I think ExOfficio should carry both fits of this great shirt.

You can never go wrong with the quality of the ExOfficio shirts. This one is extremely lightweight, can't wait to try it out once it gets a little warmer!

Very light, breathable material. The orange is just a shade different from hunter orange, bright but with just a touch more peachy-red than a traditional neon orange. I'm 5'10", 165-170 lbs., 33" waist, typically a dress shirt size 16-34, with somewhat broad shoulders. The medium size is just right in the shoulder and arm length without an undershirt. If you want a looser fit in the body and a longer drape, you might want to try the large. I will say this, the medium in this shirt fits me comfortably in the body, but does not have the extra baggy fit in the midsection that you get with the typical Columbia fishing shirt. I also bought the bright yellow color, and it wasn't as neon as the picture online might suggest. It leaned more towards bright yellow mustard, but not the safety (neon) yellow.

Many ExOfficio Shirts have this one's features; quality materials, durable tailoring, large pockets, zipper security pocket. It fits very well and is very comfortable for travel and outdoors.

I've seen the ExOff shirts for sale over the years I've been a customer. This was my first purchase. I am in love with the product. Material wt is light, exactly like i wanted. and very breathable not only thru the vents, but the material itself. Super quality.

Second shirt, like sizing as i'm 5'8",155 and small fits just right. There's enough room for activities short of full on 15 k run, but fits closely enough I'm not swallowed in fabric.
Nice details but do agree would have liked bigger pockets. Nicer fabric and wrinkle resistance than most of my Simms shirts which i had lived in til now.

Husband thinks it's a nice shirt, fits and functions well. But, it would be better if the mesh were a darker color, because the fabric flaps do not fully cover the vent.

I love the cut and style; colours were good EXCEPT the chlorine was way brighter in real life than on panels. Other critique was smaller pockets than my prior iteration of this shirt, but otherwise, I'm pleased as punch. Will be buying more of these in the future.
