The standard by which other ventilated woven hiking shirts should be measured.

I have had several ExOfficio hiking shirts in the past and they did their job of protecting me from the sun and other associated hazards from hiking in all kinds of environments. However, they were always ill fitting with baggy pockets. Not this shirt. I think I look rather dapper in it and my wife agrees!

I guess ex officio wanted to slim down their shirts. All of my current airstrip shirts are XL. Based on what Sierra publishes here, I would now have to order a XXXL which I did. It's like a big tent on my bod. Ok, I'll try XXL large then. Good grief. Now I get to pay a restocking fee.

This is a well designed shirt for outdoor activities. Large and deep front pockets and vents everywhere. Sized loose fitting

I use this shirt mainly for travel. I like that it provides 30 SPF protection, is lightweight, durable, fast drying and relatively wrinkle free after hand washing. The hidden zipper pocket is perfect for securing passports or other flat items. The two large bellows pockets are handy for convenient storage of sun glasses, boarding passes, small writing pads and other items. The buttons on this shirt are smaller, about the size found on a regular dress shirt. I prefer the larger buttons which my previously purchased Air Strip shirts had for ease of manipulation.

Despite having tried several other brands of travel shirts, the Air Strip is the best for me. I now have an even dozen, purchased over the past 10 or so years. I wear and enjoy all of them.

These are nice shirts with a bellow pocket and bellow pockets are hard to find these days. Unfortunately, there is a double stitch at the top of the pocket, which prevents the user from taking full advantage of the bellow. Thin fly boxes will fit, but not thicker boxes. The thicker boxes would fit, except for that double stich. Not sure why they did that on a fishing shirt. I would knock the shirt for this, but it is a fishing shirt and probably caters to the fly fisherman.
