I have a Bliss wrap that I adore, so I bought this one thinking that it would be the same thing. It wasn't: this one has 4% Elastine. You wouldn't think that reducing the wool content by 4% would affect the product much, but as soon as I took it out of the packaging, I could tell that it wasn't 100% wool. It you don't mind synthetics, I highly recommend this product. I, personally, hate the feel of synthetics and can tell even when there's only a small percentage of synthetic material mixed in. Now I'm looking at paying almost $7 to return it--bummer! (Next time I'll check the specs--I didn't think to check when I ordered because all my other Icebreaker clothes are 100% wool: I don't think that they used to do blends.)

I own this in 3 colors: black, patina, & vivid. Large is generous enough for anyone size12-14. My smaller sized daughters often borrow my black one to layer over outfits. Usually, I only wear it in jacket style. My new favorite way is wrapped as a tunic over leggings. A great option for trips between gym, yoga, or physical therapy when you want to cover your tights. Very lightweight material, but when layered, it is appropriate for 50 degree weather and up.

I wasn't sure what to expect based on the reviews but I ended up liking this piece. I am petite and ordered an XS which worked fine. Open the wrap is a little awkward (doesn't quite hang as nice as in the photos) but I tied this around my body and in back. It kept me warm and I even got a few compliments throughout the day. This isn't a plain wrap, it's a more unique piece. The quality of the wrap is top notch. The wood is light and warm and not the slightest bit itchy.

Like everyone else says, this is extremely comfortable. I have their socks, but this was my first clothing purchase. It is challenging to wear this in a fashionable manner, but drapey is in, and this is drapey. If you have a flexible fashion sense, this is for you. I've never had a wool item that felt like this, so it's kind of a fun experience.

Love this sweater. It's lightweight but warm and not at all scratchy. I can wear it loose, draped or wrapped.

I really love this bliss stripe wrap cardigan from Icebreaker. I own 3 of them in brown, admiral/snow, and metro heather/patina. I usually wear a S/M in icebreaker clothing but with this bliss wrap I went with S and it was perfect. They do run a bit large so I suggest buying a size down. I agree with other reviewers that it does run large and I’m pretty short at 5’2” but I still love it.

I agree with the other reviews: this is very long. I am 5'3" and it looks kinda frumpy from the front, but I love it anyway. The comfort and the fabric make it worth it, in my opinion. I like that there are different ways to wear it. I took off on a walk in the rain (with an umbrella) and discovered that it felt a lot colder outside than I realized, so it was great being able to bundle myself up by putting one of the ties through the side hole on the opposite side and tying the ties together behind my back. The first time I ordered this wrap I didn't realize there was supposed to be a button on the right shoulder. There are two button holes on the opposite strap so you can have a sort of front wrap thing going on. It looks weird on me, but might work for a taller person. (My taller sister borrowed this and she looked good in it- the other sister said I should give it to her! I haven't... yet. I did buy myself another one in another color in addition to the exchanged one. STP was gracious enough to send me a replacement for the one that came without a button on the shoulder. I also tried out a medium instead of large and am glad I did. I might even be able to work a small. Lesson to learn here is that the fabric is stretchy and you should go with a size smaller than you think you would need.
I still recommend this. It's great for wearing around the house to keep warm, whether it be from over-air-conditioning or during winter. The temp regulating properties are perfect.

I wanted to love this sweater, I was so excited to have it be my go to travel piece of clothing. But unfortunately this will be heading back to the store for someone else to purchase. Most reviewers who were petite (anyone else sick of reading how the clothing fits a 5'3" 115 pound woman who typically wears a size XS?) thought a "bustier" woman would fill this out. My 5'8" frame with an athletic build and a pair of DD's looked nothing but awkward in this wrap. When pulling through the sash to tie in the back the wrap became a mumu that made me look 15 lbs heavier. Leaving the wrap open, the ties were super awkward. Tied behind my back looked cute, but the point of purchasing this was for the wrap options.
Alas, off to find something different that works better and is more flattering.

I agree completely with the previous reviewer. I really wanted to like this wrap (got the Metro Heather/Patina and love the look) - the material has a great weight and feel, and it is functional. However, it's just too long with too much fabric for shorter folks (I'm 5'3" 130lb and the small seemed to fit well, xs may have worked, too). If you're a little taller, this will be an excellent wrap.

I'd give this a 5 for materials - it's a nice, light weight merino wool. The navy is deep but not so much you can't tell it's blue. I'm petite, 5'1" and 115lbs and ordered the XS, which fit through the shoulders and arms, however - on me this was like a sloppy bathrobe. I love the idea of it, but the execution of the design not so much....there's just too much material. There's a shoulder button so you can button one side and the other side softly drapes underneath - I have other sweaters like that and love them. Again, this one just has too much fabric and the long "tie" piece hangs down too far. I tried wrapping it around and tying in the back - this looked like a pretty, loose fitting straight-jacket.

It would be a great maternity wrap if I were carrying a baby underneath. On a taller, more buxom gal I'm sure it would be more flattering and look proportionate and I could see it becoming one of those summer or travel go-to sweaters
