Verified Buyer Reviewed by Sometimes outdoorsman from Washington on Tuesday, March 21, 2017Been looking for something to replace a non-stick square griddle pan for a while. The large diameter makes it great for pancakes. Also used it to cook steaks once so far, with excellent results. I plan on using this for years, and years.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by DroyRider from Sturgis, MI on Monday, September 26, 2016I!m a big fan of lodge products, love cooking wt cast iron. I've been wanting this sized
skillet for the longest time but the regular retail prices was always a deterrent. There was a tiny little nubby that I had to grind flat wt a sharpening stone, the only flaw that I found.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by ActiveFamilyLife from Adirondacks, NY on Monday, June 13, 2016We go camping quite a bit with 2 teenagers and sometimes there is a friend with us as well. This skillet is awesome over a campfire with potatoes and 2 kielbasas, or a pile of peppers, onions, potatoes and sausage. Our regular large skillet wasn't big enough. Love it !
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Thomas J. Morris III from New Jersey on Monday, December 21, 2015The original nonstick finish. I have been cooking on cast for 40 years. And Lodge is the last of the US makers as far as I know. Read some of the other reviews. You have to know how to cook on it. And you NEVER put soap on it. When nasty, just scrape it and boil water in it and scrape again and then re-oil. All good cooks use cast. I own a lot of it and highly recommend their products.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by SWH from VA on Wednesday, February 18, 2015We always wanted a large enough skillet for pan frying fish, shrimp and oysters. This is it! Plenty of room for everything to fry at the same time. This pan is very heavy and large, It requires the use of the bridge element on your cook top. On our stove the pan hangs over the heating element by an inch on each side, so the outside edges are not as hot as more inward...not the fault of this 15.25" large pan but rather my stove. On the grill it heats up evenly of course. Very versatile and indestructible pan that can go from stove to grill top to camp fire.
