It is big on me so I can wear a sweatshirt under it. No problem with inner layer it's the same size as the outer. The coat is much lighter than my previous but keeps me much warmer. Love the Omni Heat!

No sacrifice of looks for practicality- both warm and good looking! Runs small in shoulders/bust - unfortunately had to return and larger size unavailable ??

2 jackets for 100 is a great deal, the Omni heat keeps me warm and the fit is on point.

I am keeping this coat because I love the color - it is just the shade of purple I was looking for - and it is good at keeping me warm. I have this same coat from a few seasons ago though, that I like much better. The fit on this one is not as good for me - the medium is a bit snug through the bust and under the arms (my bust measures 37"), but the large is huge everywhere. I kept the medium and just have to wear light layers - nothing bulky underneath. I discovered that it is really the inner shell that is a little snug - the outer is fine ( I am usually a medium on top). After skiing in it a few times I have the following complaints: the interior goggle/sunglass holder is only in the inner shell, so if I want to wear just the outer shell I am out of luck for somewhere to hold my sunglasses. Also if I want to access it I have to unzip the inner liner, which is not great if you're on a chairlift. There are also just not enough pockets in the outer jacket - and the inner liner does not have side zip pockets to make sure what you put in does not fall out or thumb holes like my old one did to keep my hands warm when I take off my gloves to blow my nose or use my phone. Overall I am disappointed in Columbia, as my old Whirlibird was really great but the new updated version definitely leaves some things to be desired - and makes me wonder if the people who design these actually test them while doing winter sports...?

I really like this jacket, especially the detachable waterproof outer shell. It's quite warm, though I don't think it'd be my go-to on the coldest Midwestern winter days. The fit is very flattering, but it's a little big on my frame (I got a small, and I'm 5'1" and 122 lbs, 34" bust). It's just a little long and baggy, so if you wear a petite size you might want to look into a different jacket. The outer zipper is also a little on the sticky side and I worry about its longevity, but it seems really waterproof.

My biggest complaint is being cold while hiking, exploring, etc. I can honestly say I am impressed and pleased with how warm this product has kept me. I love the inner coat and wearing it on a casual day out. The only negative would be that the hood is kind of small. It doesn't have much of an overhang; so, I don't feel like my face is protected. Plus, the collar of the outer coat doesn't lay flat. Didn't bother me while hiking, but I didn't have it zipped too high.

I use this jacket for winter hiking and casual wear. It's warm, and the underarm vents are a nice feature. It runs small, so I can only wear a thin layer underneath. That's okay because it's so warm I don't need a sweatshirt or sweater layer. I didn't size up because the sleeves, which were already a bit too long, would've been way too long. I am 5'3'', weigh150, and ordered the large. Love the subtle black outer layer and the contrast of the bright pink inner one. I found a 50% discount, which made this a sweet deal!

Jacket is very cute and comfortable. My daughter typically wears a size 8 or medium. We bought the medium in this jacket. The outer layer feels a little big, but the liner fits perfectly. She has been very warm.

I love the look of this coat, I ordered the hyper purple plaid and absolutely love the subtle plaid on the outer jacket. The inner jacket is a nice dark navy, and looks great by itself. The omniheat innards are very warm but lightweight, which I appreciate. My only issue with it is the sleeves on the inner coat are a bit tight when I'm wearing a thicker sweater. I have a 40.5" bust, so I ordered the large, it fits well in the bust and hips. My upper bicep measurement is 14" without a sweater. I'm keeping this coat, because while the sleeves are tighter than I would like everything else is perfect, and I still have enough movement it won't impede my driving.
