Why did it take me so long to discover smart wool boxers?! The only kind of underwear I've been buying these days, comfort, durable, no smell!

I'm 5 ft 5, 130lbs and female, sz30 in mens pants, I got the size small. I use these as sleep shorts or under dresses/skirts to keep my thighs from rubbing. The feminine boy shorts do not have long enough legs/inseams to prevent my thighs from rubbing and tend to wedgie. These men's boxer briefs have a longer leg and do not ride up as much. The legs did loosen up and move around because there is no elastic in the leg seams. The merino wool helps with odor and sweat management. I tested them out in the sauna and although they were soaked with sweat I did not feel overly cold/clammy when
I got out. They dry pretty quick after washing and are soft and comfortable. The material is pretty thin, I hope they don't deteriorate too quickly.

Originally purchased a few pairs for hiking and now use for everyday wear.
Key point for me was the weight, have some other brands and they are just to heavy and you sweat.
Not with these - you can wear them in the summer and winter.

Merino wool boxer briefs are amazing for cold and cooler temperatures, especially if you sweat.

These have quickly become my favorite pair of boxer briefs -- the wool is really comfortable and wicking. Great for travel and daily wear.

I have been wearing Icebreaker merino wool underwear for some time and these SmartWool ones came on sale. They are a little heavier than the Icebreaker ones which is OK during winter and the legs are a little longer which I really like and was one of the few down sides to the Icebreakers. Fit is really good, we'll see how they hold up.

Here's the thing, I had to order a couple of these, after reading, you'll never wear cotton again, which is what I only wear, 1st, I'm a 34w, so I buy only large, med is a bit on the snug side after a few washes , I should of bought the medium on these, they are baggy at least on me they are. They are thin as many said, not the greatest of support.. they are the equivalent of your grannies panties.by looks. Don't wear these on a hot date for sure, after a few washes they are the same size still. I would never, ever pay 50 bucks for these things, ever, I'll stick to my Buffalo underwear, But I had to check what all the fuss was about,
