Fear no more. These Yaktrax "Spike" walkers will get you from here to there without danger. They fit well over shoes and really hug snow and ice--a step up from the usual winter overshoe. Easily adjustable and once set, stay in place. Great product!

Carbide inserts fell out and were lost on my first hike with them. The rest of the Yak worked great. Paid a couple bucks extra for the inserts-- won't do that again.

The first time I used the small Yaktrax, I lost one. We were walking in packed snow and the Yaktrax kept falling off . I have a womens size 5.5 shoe so they should have worked. Sometime during the last few yards of our walk, one fell off and I didn't know it until I went to take them off. I went back to try and find it but couldn't.

Look durable---the front and back rubber sections fit over the back/front of boots--not just flush with them. Since I haven't used them yet, I am hoping that this design is better than the ones I previously bought at a retail center and lost them the first time out! Gave them 4 stars as I have only tried them out in the house.

These spikes offer great traction on icy side walks etc and I would rate them much higher except I bought the correct size and yet the fall off every 5-10 minutes which makes them pretty unusable for any kind of walk.

The only positive think about these is that they have great traction on ice. Unfortunately they do not stay on!! In addition, the blue removable part pops out every time you take them off. It's a pain to have to put them back in every time you use the pull-ons.

I'm disappointed in Yaktrax. I have as pair of cheap non name brand that work so much better. I thought that with these ones being Yaktrax they would be even better. Nope!

I got these Yaktrax for my husband. They came within a couple of days of ordering and we went snow hiking the next day. He loved them and liked the spikes for the extra traction on the icy parts of the trail.

These make the difference from falling on my butt to staying upright in icy conditions. This winter has been extremely icy, with 4 inches of solid ice on my road and parking area. Just trying to make it to my car has been a challenge until I purchased these. The first time I put them on they came off halfway down the road as I was walking to my studio. I put them back on for the walk back to the house and really stretched and adjusted them over my boots. They hung on! I am extremely pleased to be able to walk out the front door, down the deck stairs, and walk down my road in this extreme ice. I purchased a pair for hubby as well.

They go on easy and stay on. Not a chance of slipping. Wore them the whole weekend ice fishing and felt confident and safe on the ice.

Purchased about 2 weeks ago to wear when shoveling snow around the home. Fine first 3-4 times, then a rear band snapped when putting it on my shoe. Size was not the, can only attribute to poor construction material. It could not withstand the normal stretch when placing on shoe. I have another pair of YakTraks...been good to me for several winters. Will return these for replacement or refund.
