The woven canvas and leather upper is durable, and the lovely embossed leather instep strap stretches with your foot movements. I LOVE these shoes!! I bought a size 11 and they fit me perfectly. I have a narrow foot and a low arch. My full length orthotic fits inside and the fit couldn't be better. I'd buy one in every color if available, but there are no more Size 11s in any color. I bought the blue, which is a light blue denim color and they look terrific with all my jeans.

Bought these because I needed something I could wear to work that have good support. These work, but do not have the support typical of other Chaco's I own - and I have sandals and casual shoes that have varying support. However, they are better than others of this style in terms of support.

The strap on the shoe is a little snug and it rubs a bit. Hoping that stretches a bit over time.

    Overall, good, not great.

I had to send these back as the fit was very loose and has no adjustment on strap.

These shoes would be great if I could get them on. The strap can not be adjusted -- it's sewn down. I have a high arch, and the shoes are almost impossible to put on.

This is a well made shoe, very comfortable right out of the box. No problem with the size or the width. Great shoe to wear with capris, shorts or casual summer dress. So far, I've taken only short walks in them and my feet stayed happy.

Quite a bit heavier and clunkier than expected (perhaps it's the "superior tread" that makes them so heavy?). I wear my Chaco sandals for outdoor activities, hiking and expeditions--what Chaco does best. The added weight of the Mary Jane style make them a lot less nimble than the sandals. I actually bought these for work, hoping they would work in a more professional setting--they didn't. They're just too heavy and cumbersome too move around smoothly or naturally. They are well made, but the bluish color is hard to match to many colors (especially denim) and the leather strap, while pretty, adds one too many colors/details for what I was looking for.

I have many pairs of chaco sandals and was really excited to get these shoes on sale. They are beautiful and nice comfy supportive footbed like I would expect from chaco. However like others have mentioned they are about 1/2 size to small. The strap is tight on me also, but should be fine when I exchange them for the 1/2 size up. Too bad though since the rest of the shoe fits fine. They are kind of shallow and snug over the toes though. Not for people with tall feet. I think making the strap adjustable would make these perfect, and truthfully would be more along the lines of what I would expect on a pair of chacos, it would also make them a lot easier to get on your feet.

I love Chaco brand for how supportive they are, but these did not offer the same support. I was planning to wear them at work where I am on my feet all day, but had to return them as they wouldn't be enough for those activities. I found they ran a little small too--maybe just a half size or so.
