My wife has a relatively small waist in proportion to larger hips and thighs. She first tried the version without without the leg lifts (can't remember the name) and even though her measurements should have fit the large size according to the sizing chart, the leg lifts were just too tight. This model fixes that because she can adjust the leg loops. It is a very padded harness and super comfortable for hanging and belaying. It also doesn't weigh much more than my own sportier harness. Highly recommended and this is a great deal.

I'm an avid, long-time climber and bought this for myself. I normally would wear a Men's medium harness. This one is light, well-constructed, and fits me just fine. It's cinched down, almost all the way, around my 31-inch waist, so there's room to go up but not much room to go down. I've only used it one day so far but took a few lead falls with no problems at all. I did think to myself that I wouldn't want to spend a lot of time hanging in this harness, but that's certainly true of most any climbing harness that doesn't market itself toward aid climbing.

That day was sport climbing, so it's yet to be determined how well the loops will manage trad gear.

I own this product. I bought mine three years ago. At that time I had been looking and trying all kinds of harnesses, for men, for women. The price was not important, I just wanted to find something that would fit well. This one won, definitely. It fit my long torso (the loop on the woman's version is longer than on men's harnesses) and I could make it fit tight around my size 10 waist. The loops work well for quickdraws for sport climbing. For trad climbing I find the loops positioned in a bit asymmetrical way and I wish there were more of them, but I just overload these.

STP price is really competitive, too.
