Sounded like a great glove for my needs.....I ride a snowmobile 3miles from home to car everyday all winter and shovel some snow....not much to ask of a glove designed for harsh alpine conditions. I bought a pair in October and by December seams were coming apart and OutDry what a joke the gloves never were waterproof. I am very dissapointed in Mountain Hardwear for this poor quality glove.

The quality of these are great and very warm. These would take a beating Im sure, However the fit is terrible. The fingers were 3/4'' too long. The insulation is packed so tight I could barely make a fist. I would imaging muscle fatigue very quickly in these. No dexterity at all.

These gloves are just outright poor design. Large is too tight for "normal-size" large hands (8.5" girth) and fingers are too long, as other reviewers have mentioned. Fingers are long enough that you can't manipulate items because there's too much extra material flopping at the ends. Construction is nice, typical of MH quality. Cuff is also not designed well.... too small to go over sleeves thoroughly and too large to go under. I sent them back and am holding out for a different MH offering.

Overall the construction of these gloves is very nice. The palm and fingers seem like they will holdup well and the waterproofing is good. However, these gloves have two major problems:

First, as other reviewers have stated, the fingers are very long and narrow I have narrow hands so Ii thought this would be perfect for me but the fingers are still too narrow I have a very hard time imagining anyone getting a good fit with them.

Second, they are just not very warm. I've had them out skiing several times and the only time my hands stayed warm it was 38 degrees out, any temps in the low 30's and my hands got cold.

So if you are looking for a warm weather glove and have extremely long narrow fingers these might work for you. Otherwise I suggest looking at something else.

I had bought another pair of these gloves for my son, and he really liked them. When they were on sale for such a good price, I could not turn them down. Just used them on a snowmobiling trip and worked perfectly.

Hugely dissapointed with these replacements for MH Dragon Claw gloves. Finger tips froze in minutes in 20F degree temps. Waterproofing is not breathable and sweaty. Fit is super tight with long floppy fingers. Otherwise we'll constructed , durable and nicely featured. Does MH test these gloves before selling them for intended use? Not recommended for skiing, or any temps below 30.

These are great gloves and look good also, but I would not use them for snow sports as goatskin does get wet. They also run small. I am a large but large is tight and is restricting. Size UP to ensure happiness.

The gloves look well made and warm but the XL are too small in the palm for my husband's XL hands.

Good looking and well made gloves. Have used only once skiing but no complaints.
