This is a shell only, no insulation. I thought otherwise when ordering. Size runs big. I am average build, 5'10" at 155 lbs and the medium was much big. For a shell nice construction and features.

This jacket fits very, very large! I'm typically between an L and XL, I ordered a large here and it's pretty much too big. I may keep because a great price on a good looking coat, but it's huge!

Jackets fits true to sizing chart for chest size. Arms are plenty long. Hood is large; big enough to cover a ski helmet.

Quality looks good for a jacket in this price range. I bought size lg at5'10" 190 lbs the jacket seems to run large. I sometimes wear xl and expected mountain hardwearto be an athletic fit. The hood is excessively large and doesn't seem easily adjustable. Single stitching in the Velcro and projecting chest pocket but at least it is stitched. I may reinforce some stitches preemtvely with superglue as other folks I know have had problems with quality construction of jeckets in this price range. Pleased with the look. Lots of room for layers

I loved this Snowzilla Dri Q jacket for the fit, the extra pockets, the finish, everything but the huge hood. The hood drooped down, completely covering my face and the adjustment strap only tightens the hood horizontally, not vertically as other large hoods often do. My was so pleased with how well my last Mountain Hardware jacket performed and lasted that I went straight to this one. I won't buy another without being able to try it on.

Im a big fan on layering and if you understand you are just buying a shell then you will love this. Very durable and waterproof. Used for skiing and winter activities all last year. Nice hood and big collar. I run warm so I don't need many layers but understanding whats needed under it whether its -20 F to 32 F is the key.

Thus jacket cuts the wind very well, and keeps your dry in a moderate rain. Haven't had it out in a downpour to see how it does.

Got this shell today. Love the soft feel of the exterior and the color, but the hood is enormous. I know it's a helmet cut, but I can seriously fit this over my motorcycle helme let alon my ski helmet. The hoo would be absolutely unusable without a helmet on. I pulled everything as tight as it would cinch, but still couldn't get it to work. I'll be sending it back tomorrow and looking for something else. Also I don't know what happened to Mountain Hardware sizing, but it appears that they've gone the oversized American route. I'm 5'10" 210lbs and this jacket sized large still had room when wearing a 900 fill down layer under it.
