Haven't actually used it yet, but it looks just like the picture. should fit our small siberian husky just fine.

I'm very pleased with this vest. It fits my 45# Brittany perfectly. It's well made of quality materials. Stitching is heavy duty. And the lifting strap is a thoughtful touch.

Looks like a high quality piece of equipment; especially for the price. My concern is the weight range given for sizing purposes. My 40 pound pup is still too small for this size vest. I'm hoping she'll fill out in the chest so she can fit.

My dog loves the water but for whitewater I want her to have some more float. This appears to keep her up in the water pretty well but doesn't fit that well. It isn't quite long enough (although it fits her in all the other dimensions, and the straps under her belly come loose. But the handle is great and I can lift her back into the boat. Even if it doesn't do anything else the handle is great.

I like the neoprene and quality of the design, my only two concerns are one; it doesn't have a "D-Ring" to attach a leash or tether, it does have a handle for lifting your dog. Two, although I've yet to try it in the water I don't see the providing complete flotation, nor do I see it keeping your pets head above water if he or she should become incapacitated or exhausted.

You really should test it in the water before relying on it for a safety vest.

Note: You have to measure your dog very carefully as my dogs measurements indicated a Medium but when I received it, it was too big for him and I had to exchange it for a small.

If possible I will update my review after I get to try it out on him.

The medium was a good fit for my border collie who was a reluctant swimmer without the vest. Now he LOVES swimming to retrieve a bumper that is tossed into the water. Good price.

I bought a small and medium. They both seem to fit the respective dog as comfortable as one would anticipate. Won't know if they work till the water warms up, unless my boat sinks.

These vests did not come with a leash/tether ring. I do not know if the designer lacked the intelligence to include a ring, or the manufacturer to cheap. Either way, I will have to add one myself.

As usual, STP's price was enticing.
