After giving the bag a full day out to breath and re-fluff after packing and shipping I climbed in indoors. Felt overheated almost immediately. The build quality appears to be very good. The real test will be during a late February kayak trip, probably won't be field testing before then. This appears to be one of the bags Marmot builds under their own label for specific vendors rather than as part of their regular line; I've seen the bag here on Sierra Trading Post as well as a major outdoor retailer's clearance area. The loft is very good, the zippers work well, and the hood cinching system is well-thought out. This appears to be a great opportunity to grab a low temp, treated down bag for less than I paid for an '82 Corolla with 200K miles on the clock.

I am 6'-3" and 215lbs and the long bag fits me with a little room to spare! 800 fill down is some of the best insulation per ounce you can get & Marmot bags are legendary performers, so you know what you're getting into is no "slumber party summer special". This bag will keep you warm no matter what. Albeit maybe too warm! If you are a Cold Sleeper or enjoy winter camping, check this bag out. You can't beat the price on a 0 degree bag of this quality.

I'm 5'10 and is pretty long on me, which is awesome. It's really light, very toasty, and has other nice features like a glow in the dark zipper and baffles below the neck to keep the heat in. I took this backpacking in Colorado last weekend and I'm in love... Huge difference in warmth from my synthetic 15deg bag

This was my first down bag. Purchased it for a trip to the Andes. The first night at 14000 ft, I stayed very warm. The next two nights at 16500 ft, still very warm. Maybe too warm. I shall not complain about too warm. I was using a 3 season tent during storms at 16500 ft, and the bag worked very well. Packing the bag was easy. quality zippers. I wish I'd purchased this bad many years ago. I didn't realize how nice a real down bag is. Due to an early morning move between camps, I packed the bag while it was damp. The dampness didn't change the warmth for the next night.

Don't be fooled by how light this bag is! Aside from being beautiful, which I realize doesn't keep you warm, this bag is built incredibly well. Zipper pulls are comfortable and have glow in the dark tabs, zipper operates smoothly. Bag is warm...i recommend this bag to any serious hiker or backcountry enthusiast. Marmot is outstanding gear!
