Woolrich Plum Run Hooded Sweatshirt (For Women)

Closeouts. Hooded sweatshirts are most definitely not created equal, and Woolrich's Plum Run sweatshirt has warmth, personality and class. You'll love the distinguishing details like contrast woven fabric at the placket, rib-knit pocket detail, and old-fashioned ring snaps at the neckline closure.

I bought this thinking it was a traditional sweatshirt- smooth cotton exterior with fleece texture inside. This is a very thin, cotton knit sweater, in the shape of a hoodie sweatshirt. If you want a thin, summer-weight knitted sweater, this is for you. If you want a sweatshirt, I suggest you keep looking.

I am enjoying this shirt a great deal - light, soft and warm. Only drawback is the need to line dry - which means I need to 'catch' it out of the laundry so it doesn't get into the dryer.

The fabric is delightfully soft and fairly warm, for its thickness. Size is as expected. A great sweatshirt for informal wear!

I love this sweatshirt and would buy more in different colors if they were still available. I am very disappointed that they were discontinued for some reason!!

I really like the length, fabric, and weight. I bought the green, which is like a Kelly green. Very pretty,

I ordered both size L & XL in the green clover color. Color is great - a bit darker in person than pics of this sweatshirt at various places online. I kept the XL as it fit better/more relaxed, with room for any shrinkage. The XL sleeves are longer & I think possibly a bit longer overall than the large. Love the snaps in front which makes this a versatile top. It is lightweight, but with the 3% wool, it curbs the chill & feels warm. I live in So Calif & will wear this often, plus will take it with me on camping trips. Very comfy, soft, no itch. The nylon content allows the sleeves to be pulled up comfortably. I do not expect it to stretch out. I plan to wash in a mesh laundry bag with a wool wash & slightly dry on low to fluff it up & then hang or lay out to finish drying. In my opinion the sweatshirt might be too short for taller gals in a size less than XL or for anyone with long arms(unless you stretched the arms a bit). I'm 5'6", average arms. The XL covers half my bum & the sleeves comfortably cover over part of my hands.
