Way too large. But otherwise looks like a great jacket!

Size is great. Sierra did great. The jacket does have a missed stitch which I'm guessing will have to be sorted out with Mountain Hardware. At 6'4" and 230 the xl fits great.

I have been eyeing up the Ghost Whisperer for some time and finally pulled the trigger! I was a little unsure about the Python Green color but upon arrival, happy to report that it is great in person.

The jacket is very comfortable and, of course, super light while keeping you warm. I am at the ice rink quite often for kid's sports and throwing this on over a t-shirt is sufficient to remain comfortable. The shell appears to repel water quite well as I have been caught in a few rainstorms since I got it and the jacket hasn't become waterlogged.

Too thin, no imagination to keep warm

I wanted a light, compact jacket for travel. This is the lightest coat I own and it compresses well. After stuffing it into its own pocket, it's about the size of an airplane pillow. In a pack, it can be compressed even more.

It's not the warmest coat. It has been comfortable to wear in the mid-20s (-4 C) for moderate activity (walking). I don't think it would be warm enough for significantly colder weather or for just sitting around in the 20s. A windbreaker or shell over it could extend its range, particularly if it's windy.

For me, the fit was fine. I usually wear a Tall, so the long sleeves worked. I didn't find the jacket to be too roomy-- I'm 6 foot, 240 pounds, and ordered the XL. The XXL might have been a better fit for me, but this isn't too snug, even over a light fleece.

I'm not thrilled about the color, but that's a matter of taste. The price made it a good value.

This is one of the very best ultralight insulating layers. It's well made and fits perfectly. At retail price ($300+) it's not as good a value as the Montbell Plasma, but at STP's price, it's a fantastic deal. This is the centerpiece of my outdoor apparel and for good reason.

I bought this and the women's version for my wife. We were amazed at just how light this jacket really was; it was lighter than the plastic packaging it came in. The styling is nice but the exterior is very shiny and transparent. My wife's jacket was white and at first we thought it had dirt spots all over. After closer examination, we found that you can see the occasional brown feathers through the shell. My jacket is red, but you can still see the darker feathers. Just as mentioned in other reviews, the jacket is cut more like a dress shirt whereas the armpit area is tight. The jacket runs a bit big (except in the armpit region). I usually wear size large, but bought a medium based on other reviews and the fit is good (6'2", 82k). If you are concerned with weight and packability, this is the jacket for you.

Thrilled to have a high end ultralight down backpacking jacket to replace bulky fleece at a price I could afford. Perfect fit for me, not obese but a husky XL, not too tight in the torso like a lot of the light weight layering.

This jacket is the lightest down jacket I've ever seen. I like it very much.
