Took one star off - the jacket is on the long side, someone tall with long hands. Not for anyone with more than an average bust
Good style and will most likely be could worn in early spring or late fall.
    Sent it back.

Outstanding quality light technical jacket that also looks good enough with it's trim, athletic fit and high-end materials, to wear at the bar. Incredibly light, yet surprisingly warm and wind resistant, it is the perfect year-round jacket for coastal Southern California cool evenings. This is my first Black Diamond purchase and I must say, as a lover of Rab, Mammut, KJUS and Mountain Force, BD is right there in terms of materials, design, form and function, and craftsmanship. I won't hesitate to purchase another Black Diamond product. At the STP clearance price, this was a no brainier for me (bought the red color, love it!).

Very athletic, fitted cut. Warmer than I expected. I ordered a Large it fits like a glove. Order a size up if you plan to wear layers or a thick sweater underneath it. The Pertex material is very water repellent. This jacket is now my daily go to!

Great jacket, I have used The North Face, Rab , and others but they are hot, hot, hot. None breathe like this one does. The panels are windproof but still let out the heat. My wife was wearing a TNF triclime jacket and she was burning up. We came to Sierra Trading and got one of these (woman's ) jackets for her too! They are slim fitting so I got XL and it is a perfect fit.

I purchased this coat to replace the mid-layer North Face that came as a set with my North Face shell that I have used for years living and skiing in the Colorado Rockies. The North Face mid-layer got worn both with and without the shell and had gotten pretty packed out and worn. The Black Diamond Hybrid Jacket is actually more form fitting and I am stoked to ski!

This jacket kept me warm with just a shell over it while skiing in some cold conditions. Lightweight and allows for movement. Good overall and true to size. I normally wear L, and this L fit me well.

This jacket will be great for cool fall and spring days. It may be too light for weather under 35. I'm not sure about the water repellency. Arraign shell might be needed.

It seems that Black Diamond apparel is a form fitting. I'm a well-built medium (5'9", 165#). So, I ordered the M and it fit like an "athletic-cut" shirt. So I ordered a size up (L) and it fits fine. I'll be able to get a layer under it, but it still fits nicely. It was good to be able to have the M and L side by side for the fit comparison. I think I'm going to love it. If you're a thin (I mean THIN) build, you may be able to get away with your normal size.

Would have given 5 stars but the jacket is on the long side, otherwise its lightweight, not much bulk, would satisfy a person with a longer torso. Nice style and will most likely be worn in early spring or late fall as winter conditons here in NH found it not warm enough for me but keep in mind, I only wear a thin layer underneath my winter jackets. With the fit, anything heavier would be too bulky. The XL was for a 47 chest and I am a 46 so not alot of room for error. The purchase price was a deciding factor on this crazy deal for $35 bucks. A real keeper!

I am a 6ft tall female who has a hard time finding jackets with long enough sleeves, so I end up shopping the mens dept. This jacket is soft and super lightweight, so it doesn't feel boxy as men's jackets can. Surprisingly warm. Good tail and sleeve length. Roomy pockets. Blue color is nice.

This jacket has become my go-to jacket in the short time I've owned it. It is warm enough that I can wear it on short trips in 10-30*F weather without being too cold (although I do usually run hot). At the same time, I do not overheat while walking around a store or riding in the car. The materials feel durable and are comfortable to wear over a t-shirt, base layer, or even a thin mid-layer of merino wool or the like. There are more than enough pockets, each of which features a solid feeling zipper. The jacket is long enough that it dips below my waist slightly to form a good seal with snowpants. The athletic cut fits perfectly under a shell. This jacket was just what I needed while skiing. It kept me warm without over heating and had great range of motion. It is also surprisingly light, especially for how warm it is. The Pertex fabric held up well to a few tumbles on the hill.
