Little thinner than some of my older Dale of Norway, but otherwise a nice sweater.

This sweater is lightweight, but warm and durable. My only slight disappointment is the same with other Dale sweaters, in that the bottom hem sits high on my hips. I have an average-length torso, but if the sweater were a couple inches longer it would be more comfortable. It's length causes it to ride up under jackets, so am undershirt is not a bad idea. Still, I love this sweater and am happy with my purchase.

Gorgeous sweater. I'm glad I ordered a L -- the M might have been closer fitting than I like. This one is just right.
(I'm 5'5" 125 lbs) Not cheap but obviously very high quality.

I don't usually spend this much on one piece of clothes and almost sent it back but it was so comfortable I'm keeping it. Felt true to size.

a little thin and not as well crafted as other Dale sweaters that we have purchased in Norway and at other stores. Although the sweaters are trim fitting and have a nice overall appearance when on. We paired with a contrasting cobalt colored landsend turtle neck to accent the sweater pattern. Still a good value for a Dale product that can retail from $300-$600.

As always Dale of Norway has a hit on their hands. And with the STP prices it is even affordable. Very warm, but not heavy. And stylish too boot.
    Can't go wrong here.

I also sized down based on other reviews. I wear 8-10 in tops and always buy size large jackets, and generally sweaters too, because I have broad shoulders and like to have layering options. The medium in this fits me perfectly in a form fitting flattering way. But, with spending this much money on an expensive wool sweater I like to have a bit of a margin of error with washing. I am too lazy to hand-wash anything and dry cleaning is toxic. If I accidentally shrunk the medium even a LITTLE bit, it would no longer fit me and that would be a shame so I am exchanging it for a large.

originally ordered a med. per other reviews , but I sent it back for a L - I like my sweaters not so clingy. I am 5'2" , athletic build, hiker and outdoors gal... usually wear an 8-10.. Very happy with my purchase
