Don't know why you're discontinuing these. I've worn them hiking 2-3 times and they've performed very well. Warm, roomy, smooth, comfortable. I have a small waist so had to take them in, and now they're perfect. Love the wide band. The thing is, I could wear these hiking and then wear them to work!

I looked at these a long time but read so many reviews about the awkward fit. I finally took a chance when I saw them on clearance for $24 on the IB website. Where can you go wrong? I'm usually a 10 but got the 31 just in case. No return allowed on those clearance sales. They were a bit big but wearable and I LOVE them. Really classy trouser with nice features. When I saw them on STP for a good price I decided I liked them well enough to try a smaller size and got the 30. Perfect fit! I got lucky that the cut fit my body type just right. Not everyone had that experience with these. I will be able to wear them both.

I liked the fabric, styling, and color...however the fit was off for me. They fit great in the waist but were big and baggie in the thighs. The overall look was fitted and trim, then 'hiking' - so I couldn't decide exactly how I would wear them. Plus they were VERY long - I don't mind paying for hemming, but taking off 5 inches would have made them look odd. I am size 10 in other pants, 5'2'', ordered the 31'. I am thicker in the middle with skinny legs, so if you are more balanced between, these might work for you.

I'm a longtime IB fan and have had dozens of pieces over the years. These pants are the second item I've sent back in all that time. They just don't work. I ordered a 29 inch waist which fit fine, but the rest of the pant was very odd. The thighs were semi tight but then they have this huge flare--far more than a regular bootcut. I'm 5'6" and there was literally 4" of extra fabric--if I had kept them I would've had to have them tailored. The fabric is scratchy and not at all comfortable...and these are the first IB pants I've felt too warm in. Overall, they look very casual to the point of being dumpy. Might be decent for walking the dog or attending an outdoor sports event but I wouldn't travel in them nor wear them for anything office related. And Sierra Trading Post's return policy is ridiculous. After return shipping and some other random fee was deducted they ended up taking a whopping total of $15 off my return. Contrast that with Icebreaker's actual site...I spent $100 on a dress, ended up returning it--and was refunded a total of $100 dollars (they paid for shipping both ways). I can't recommend these pants or Sierra Trading Post.

This pants are usual great Icebreaker quality of material and workmanship. However, the cut is strange - way too loose in the crotch, seat and upper leg. I am 5'7" and 130 lbs, wearing 6-8. Size 30 was a bit too big, which would be OK, if not for a very loose seat and thighs area. Size 29 would probably be too tight at the waist for me. Flare at the legs is also way larger than the picture shows. I wish they would make a slim fit pants with this material... If you like loose fit, and can get a good price with STP deals, go for it; these are quality pants. For me, I am doing an easy return with STP.

these pants are nice but they were way too big. I ordered a size 2, came labeled as 27, and I could pull them down over my hips buttoned. I am 5'4" and about 110... when did clothes get so big??

Love the quality of the fabric and make of these pants - which is why I give them five stars. Unfortunately they don't fit my body type and the boot cut was a little more flared than I would like. There isn't any stretch to the waste band so be sure to look at the sizing chart and order accordingly.

Great looking pants. Love the wool fabric. I am 5'3" and the pants were a little long, but a little stitch witchery took care of it. These are now a wardrobe staple. Great price too!

Very flattering fit and right on size. Ordered one in each color. Not quite as dressy as I thought but perfect for the office or play. The material and workmanship are excellent and the pants have a slight stretch.
