Great fit! love the length. I have worn this under a shell, skiing in subzero temps and stayed quite comfy. It's light yet extremely warm. I mainly wear it as an outer layer as it isn't too bulky and the style/color is nice.

I bought this jacket for my 13 year old. She normally wears a women's small, but after reading the reviews that say it runs small, I ordered a medium. The medium was still too tight. Unfortunately there was no large available for exchange. Sadly I had to return this gorgeous, high quality jacket.

This jacket looks great, but is very thin. Side panels have no insulation. This is a mid-layer for most days, an outer layer only on warmer days.

I am very pleased with this jacket and the price, which was greatly reduced because it was last year's model/color. It is lightweight but warm and I'd buy this brand again, and most likely thru Sierra Trading Post since they had by far, the best price and selection.

When I buy wool, I try to buy Icebreaker for their animal care. This is a cozy baselayer or outer jogging layer, just a little short in the arms because I'm a tall "Small".

I really wanted to love this. I have a friend who works for Icebreaker who recommended this jacket to me. I am looking for something to take with me on my upcoming hiking trip to Patagonia. I was looking for something that would perform in all types of weather, especially with high wind.

So I jumped when STP got it in with their fabulous prices. But that's where the good news ends. I ordered a large, which is the same size as my Cascade Hoody, which fits fine. Also for reference, I wear a L/XL in their shirts.

As soon as I took it out of the package, it looked to be on the small side. I tried it on with a thin shirt on under it and could barely zip it up. There's no way I would be able to layer anything under this jacket. It was tight across the waist, hips, and chest. Additionally, the arms are very constructive, especially if you have "Crossfit arms". I had trouble raising my arms above my head in this jacket. I don't know if Icebreaker just mislabeled this jacket or if it just a runs small. I kind of doubt the XL would even fit me, which is seriously disappointing. So I will be returning it.

Heads up Icebreaker: not all of us are tiny girls. I'm fit, but I'm on the bigger side. Please make clothing that fits us too!

Lovely jacket but I also ordered a small in the men's hooded version (who doesn't love a hood?) and preferred everything about it over this women's jacket (ordered size M). I don't have a very curvy figure and don't actually like the women's jackets that try to add curves because if they don't hug in the right places the garment looks ill fitting. Men's small had rather long arms (I am 5'10 with long arms) so if this one doesn't fit you I'd try a men's size instead.

Better than expected - inserts on the sides are strachy, so it contours well to the body; beautiful rich color; has thumb holes.
