at first I was disappointed that the pants seemed so light weight. I washed them as directed, no shrinkage, and they are nicely warm. Good for chilly days out or a chilly house. Warmer than jeans but not for ice fishing.

The pants are high quality, like most Icebreaker products. The style is a little odd, but it's a matter of personal taste (I happen to like them). The pants run bigger, and I would order a size down. The pockets are annoying - oddly placed and sized - which is why is deducted a star.

I ordered these pants hoping to have an outdoor pair to wear in the cold weather. Upon receiving them i was disappointed in that they were very, very thin material. Definitely NOT "Winter Weight" as advertised. I returned them immediately.

There was a review under ONE Icebreaker coat here at STP that a guy wrote - detailing every product Icebreaker makes - including these pants. Taking his advice that the few PANTS Icebreaker makes always RUN ONE INCH LARGER than stated, I ordered a 36 inch waist in these pants, for my 36 inch waist. (I often wear a 38 in other pants. I'm not fat - half the companies these days run 2 inches smaller than stated down the entire line) Just as the man said, these were a little loose. Perfect for me, hate tight pants. Put them in the dryer wet to shrink them down a bit. A bit was all the dryer shrank them, hardly noticeable, so you can ignore the 'care' label. A good alternative pant for cold weather in Montana. The green does have the look of forest service pants. Gusseted crotch is what I like and all look for anymore in a pant with my cyclists lower body. These don't scream 'hip/cool/groovy' in appearance, but I find myself pulling them on often enough to be glad I bought them.

Another great pant from Icebreaker. The material is great, hard-wearing yet soft. The pant works well if you are looking for a bit more pocket space than the Compass pant. @ rear pockets is a plus for me. The sizing is consistent with their other pants and they are probably a bit looser waist than marked but many pants are like that these days. They wash great. No issues at all and I bought 2 of each color.
