Nice, dense knit, obviously high quality. One of the most comfortable hoodies I've ever worn. Perfect for running and working around the yard on chilly days. Warm, but breathes well (though you'll definitely feel the wind if it is blowing.)
I am 6'2", and Large fits me well (but slim). However, the arms are a tad too short for the thumbholes to be useful for me. Arms still reach my wrists, but do not cover the tops of my hands as is shown in the model pictures. I find this to be true in general with Icebreaker's gear. Just make the arms an inch longer please. I do not have this problem in other brands in general.

the icebreaker merino material holds its stead as one of the most sought after sport mid-layer jacket on the market, and this Quantum (more so than the "Sierra") is the most representative of this highly-desirable outfit. The material can be warm, tight-fitting, and not so bulky; as well as elastic (very maneuverable) ... and at times much less steamy than a normal (poly or fleece) soft-shell during semi-humid days. The hood (albeit not adjustable) is just right for most folks. A medium size will fit many people between 5.3 to 5.8 tall (w/ medium or slight torso) ...
for a regular price, one would be hesitating to buy one; but as this goes on sale, I would highly recommend this mid-layer all around sporty jacket. Lucky you if you can have a size and a color to your liking at such price-drop occasion.

Very nice hoodie. Very warm. Would be good to train in 20-30 degree conditions.

This is cut slim and long. Long sleeves and long body. I wear a 15.5 x 35 shirt and this fits perfectly - size M. It is longer in the body than I would prefer. Upper pocket will hold a cell phone but not more, two side pockets would be bulky if you put anything in them. I really like this jacket and the hood fits nicely over a ball cap or will stay put on your head without one. Used for running.

Once cool weather moved in I wear this hoodie every day. Great fit, good looking, and very comfortable. I'm buying a second one. It works well for layering, as a mid-layer, but you will need a wind breaker for windy conditions.

Another fine jacket from Icebreaker. The material feels comfortable. The jacket is athletic fit -- I'm 5'11" and 165lb, the medium fits well.

I'm 6'1" and pretty slender (165lbs.) and the jacket isn't as tight fitting as I'd like for running or biking, but the length is perfect through the body and sleeves. Material is warmer than I'd expect from its thinness, but I'm not sure how its going to wear--or if it will pill like polyester or wool sometimes does.

I think this is my new favorite hoodie. The 260 weight is just thick and warm enough for 20-40 degree runs. The thumb holes and hood add different warmth options. Unlike a lot of hoods, when you put it down, it doesn't bob all over the place. As far as fit, it fits a little long, but in a good way. I'm 6'2", slim body type, and it fits long through the torso and arms, without being excessive. All around another great piece from Icebreaker. No complaints here.

This type of layer is why I love merino. It's fairly light weight for what it is at 260gm, but the warmth you get out of it is insane. Throw in the zip pockets, and it's so versatile as a midlayer that I need two of them. Awesome in the backcountry, on a run, or around home/work. Thumb holes are in the perfect spot and the hood is just the right size for not having drawstrings. I am 6'1" about 175lb, and the large is perfect for chest is probably around 41."

I'm not a runner and I honestly got this for the wrong reason. That written, it's a very nice product and having shoveled snow in it I can say that it performs very well. It breathes and moves well, the hood keeps you toasty and it didn't reek after. If you do run, this is probably great for you. I can't report on how well it will stand up to washing. I would definitely not call this a midweight layer though. It's quite thin, but still warm.
