Fine, soft wool. The violet color was beautiful, not too bright. Fingers long, as commenters noted.

Bought as a gift for a female friend to match her coat. Tried them on and would have bought a pair for myself if the colors were for men. You can't beat a Icebreaker product for warmth. Got them for 6 bucks, can;t knock that!

i have large hands and ususally order large gloves. but these are a bit too long in the fingers. i have not washed them yet. they are def not women's large and even seem bigger than typical men's large. but they are perfect for xc skiing in 10-30 degree weather. breathable but a nice barrier from the wind.

These gloves have the longest fingers I've ever seen. I normally have trouble finding gloves with fingers long enough, and these have extra length! Otherwise, a well made thin wool glove. Perfect for stashing in the pocket for chilly mornings when you just need a little insulation

comfortable fabric; good fit; seem like they'll be warm enough for 3 season hikes in the northwest.

first, let me say that these look well built, soft to touch and have a good look/feel factor.
However, they are way too big. I usually wear M sise (8.5"), however, according to the sizing chart I was ordering a XL size... reading the review, I sized down to L, but turns out, they are still too big. I will be returning these...

I brought these gloves with me during my 500 mile hike across northern Spain (Camino de Santiago). These are terrific - very light weight, comfortable and warm. These were essential part of our gear on the freezing cold mornings when we used our trekking poles.

My husband is 6'4" and weighs 175lbs with long hands and thin fingers. He usually has to order an extra large in gloves to accommodate the size of his hands, but then his fingers swim in the glove. I ordered him the extra large in these gloves and they were too big even in the hands, so we sent them back and ordered the large and they fit him perfectly! He's an odd one to size, so they may not be perfect for everyone, but they are for him! I already ordered two more pair for the future!

The gloves are great for hiking in cold weather and thin enough to wear under a heavier glove for added warmth.

These are very warm and provides some wind protection, at least more wind protection than my silk liners that are similar size and weight. another great Icebreaker product. I ordered a xl, which is my usual and they were to big, the large fit perfectly.
