This jacket fits great, true to size. It is light weight and would be good with layers or in spring or fall. The sleeves are a bit long but its not a problem. I even like the green with the black trim.

Great product, just what daughter needed to layer for cold and wind.

I was looking for a jacket to wear in the 30-65 degree range hiking, that would offer water/wind resistance and had pit zips. I'm tired of overheating when exerting up hills. It was not easy to find pit zips and for my purposes that alone would give 5 stars. This jacket seems like it will work fine. It is well made and light weight. I haven't tested in light rain but it should be fine. It may need more layers for warmth when the high country thunderstorms blow in and the temps are at the lower end of the range I hike in but it is worth it to not be cooking when on the move. I've got some terramac fleece from STP that is warm and super light and compressible that I'll stick in my pack. I'm 5'4" and 108lbs. I usually like a med in a jacket but in this one I tried both and the small was best. The sleeves are too long but I can roll them under and they stay put. I was going to sew them shorter but may not as I can drop them over my hand this way. Plus the part with thumbholes is nice too.
