This is the nice jacket but the zippers under the armpit are super uncomfortable. I had to return it.

Size seemed to run a bit on the small size.

After trying multiple jackets, I ended up keeping the Marmot Horizon. Aside from the obvious good deal through STP, the fit and quality are excellent. For reference, I'm 5'5", 135 lbs, size 6-8 and the Med fits perfectly with room to spare. I appreciate the chest pocket often not found on a women's jacket. There are also 2 interior mesh pockets as well as a small zippered pocket, and the hood fits nicely over my helmet. It's not bulky and the insulation seems like it will work in a variety of weather conditions. I'm very happy with this purchase and can't wait to wear it this upcoming ski season! :-)

I love this jacket for skiing and for cold days for running around doing chores. It's very light and allows enough room for layers without being bulky. I also love the underarm zippers, really useful for when you start feeling hot in a cold, windy day that does not allow for unzipping the jacket. The only drawback is that I expected it to be warmer, though it works really well as a wind breaker. Quality is as expected from Marmot. Washes well and comes out of dryer wrinkle-free.

Just as previous reviews say, you need order at least one size up. I am 5'4" and 118LB. Normally Marmot small jackets give me pretty room for another layer. Followed others' suggestion, I ordered medium. Medium left some room for another layer of thin down jacket. One base layer + think layer of down jacket + this ski jacket, should be enough for a very cold ski day in Colorado. The hood goes over my ski helmet and the powder skirt is detachable.

This is not the nicest ski jacket I have tried on but the price with extra 30% off is definitely the winner.

I love this jacket. I've used in four times so far, two of which were powder days, and it held up well. I stayed dry and warm the whole time. The only criticism I would make is the black color isn't a true black, more like a light black color. I'm 5' 6" 145lbs and I got the large. It's roomy but I layer up so it's comfortable.

Love this jacket. I bought it for my 15 year old daughter.. She has really long arms, so the Women's Small was too small. The Women's Med fits her perfect. The only thing I would say is that it is a little short in the torso, but maybe that is because my daughter's body shape.. Very warm too.

I love that this jacket is not girly- so hard to find! Blue color is really nice and there are actually chest pockets- something that's usually left out of women's jackets. Also appreciate having features like the powder skirt and pit zips.
Problem is I ordered this jacket in both a small and a medium since I wasn't quite sure which would fit. To my surprise they are both too small! The arms and shoulders are made for someone with twig arms and there's just not enough room for layers.
I normally wear a 4 or a 6 so ordering a large is unusual for me...
So I'm about to return the small and medium and order a large. Sure hope it fits.. if not i'll have to try a different jacket altogether or maybe the men's version if they make one.
Will update this review once I've used the jacket (assuming I keep the large)
