Awesome coat. So very warm. Not overly puffy. I would buy again. Now for the downside. First, this coat has zero waterproofness. Gets soaked real fast. Second, the hood fits my head a little funny. Maybe too puffy only on the hood. Third, it's fragile. I ripped it the third day I wore it. Luckily a little electric tape works good as a patch. Good warm coat. Buy it.

I was looking for a warm casual jacket that was easy to put on and take off. This fit the bill. It's warm in the cold and not to hot standing inside. I'm 5'7 170 lbs and struggle to find jackets that fit. Larges are to big around the stomache and mediums are to tight across the shoulders. In this style a medium fits perfect.

This year winter conditions in Lviv, Ukraine are perfect for testing this jacket out. The average temperature is 20 to 15 F* and this jacket is exactly what I needed. With a warm base layer or a fleece you will keep warmth and feel cozy. I like the fit and stretch cuffs with thumbholes, the hood has good amount of insulation and all pockets are at the right places. Marmot is a high-quality product as usual.

Bought this for a Christmas present for my husband and he gives it a 5 star rating. The fit is true to size. It's warm, but not bulky, and he likes the thumb hole at the wrist. Win, win!

I am 5'9 around 160 lbs with a 40 inch chest. A medium is normally always a good fit for me. However this jacket is made for people that are well over 6 ft tall. The jacket length is way too long for someone my height, the jacket goes well past my hips and the sleeves are around 3 inches too long. Also for a 700 fill jacket this jacket was very thin and doesn't seem to be that warm. Returned immediately. If you are thin and tall, it will prob fit fine.

I had been looking for this jacket from Marmot's own website. It is called the 'Hangtime Jacket' but for a bit more money. When I came across Sierra Trading Post's website and saw they had Marmot jackets for sale, I looked through their inventory and low and behold, they had the Hangtime jacket but under a different name, the Aerial Hooded Down Jacket. This jacket is beautifully made and looks great! Marmot jackets tend to be tight around my shoulders because I train so my muscularity doesn't suit well for their jackets but I've been slimming down and thankfully, it fits very snug! I'm 5'7" 177lbs (from 218!!! YEAH BABY slim & slender, lol!) and I went with the medium because the Large felt like a big balloon on me. I like form fitting clothing.

I spent a couple of weeks researching mens down jackets and was between a Sierra Designs Parka and this Marmot jacket. I ordered both in a large for my 6'2" 185 lb frame (since sizing online can be tricky) and both fit fine. Then I put the jackets through a similar outdoor test. I wore both at sunset at the same 40 degree temperature along the same hiking route and at the same hiking pace. I tested for comfort (fit and feel) including warmth. I also considered jacket features, construction, style, and price. This jacket did not disappoint! It was a better value and is one of the most comfortable jackets I have worn. My only gripe is the thumb-loop cuffs are sort of gimiky-- unless, I guess, if you ski with this jacket. This is a great overall jacket for the price!

bought a winter coat last year for my son and it wasn't warm enough, so this year, bought this one and my son loves it. got red, which is kind of darker brick red - nice. he likes the thumb holes in the sleeves and it's much loftier than last years' coat.
