If you have any bulges or anything you don't want seen this dress is not for you. Very clingy and shows all. But for those that are toned and fit.....go for it. Sized right.

You can dress it up but it works for a casual outing. Fabric is clingy but not tight, will probably require smooth line for undergarments. Too hot right now to take this dress out on a "date"

I wore this dress the day after it arrived and I received several complements from co-workers. It is extremely comfortable and can easily be dressed up or down. I am 5'7" 114 lbs and the XS fits perfectly. I should mention that while the fabric is very soft it is a bit clingy which doesn't hide bra/panty lines well.

If your figure is like the model pictured this dress will look really nice on you. I am not tall and thin (5'1" #135) but I wanted a new black dress and decided to take a chance on this because I liked the "little bit different look" it offered. After reading reviews I ordered the large. Other reviewers are correct in that the material is heavy, literally, and also shows bulges. I would have probably been better off with the medium (no joke, I am very athletic and not all of me is fat). The dress is too big through the torso and doesn't show that I have a waist (hourglass figure). Need to look for some type of tie to pull the dress in at the waist by the seam. A thin belt didn't cut it. I will be wearing the dress with flats so it will work even though it is longer than I really prefer. By the way, I washed and dried the dress. It didn't shrink, unfortunately. Shipping fees are making me more hesitant to order from STP. It would be really helpful if reviewers offered their height and weight, when appropriate, for others to make a more informed decision. Just my opinion.

The fabric was okay and styling was nice, but the cut of this dress was unflattering on me. The waist hit me somewhere between natural waistline and below the bust (empire waist), either of which would have been okay. I'm 5'9" and curvy.

The dress is soft and drapes beautifully. The lining also adds to the swing of the skirt. That said, I had to return it. It was too clingy on me. And getting a larger size would not have solved the problem. In order to look great in this dress, you need a "toned" body without any torso fat. Being young also would help. I was hoping it would fit me but knew it was a gamble. I would say the sizing is accurate. Oh well, I gave it a go.

this fun and flirty dress gives some oomph to the world of the little black dress. the keyholes front and back add interest, but are not revealing in the least and totally work-worthy. on me, the dress hem seems just the slightest bit longer in the back than in the front (but certainly not as extreme as those unfortunate highly front/back asymmetric dress phenomena from the late 1980s...) i have several other nau pieces in XS, but chose to size up to S in this dress because sleeves and waist are quite fitted and to keep the length at the knee and not too much above. this dress also looks cute with capri leggings or with patterned tights.

I selected the purple stripes and I do like the drapey, casual feel of the fabric. The cut is somewhat dressy with a shorter front and longer back, plus the slits. I am still deciding where I would feel comfortable wearing this dress. Came out of the box wrinkly and I may need to steam it to correct this.

Couldn't wait to wear it. It is so silky soft and fits very nicely. Wish it were a tad longer, but that's ok. I've worn it for a dress event with stockings and a scarf and casual with leggings - can be dressed up or down. I was going to avoid anymore empire waist dresses, but unlike the typical empire wait that leaves the rest just hanging, this has a nice taper.
