I actually have bought 3 pairs of these pants in 2 colors. They are really light and dry quickly.

Very comfortable on a hot day. Very light but stretchy fabric - not exactly see-through, but really thin. With a tunic over them, they are perfect. I found they run true to size.

I would probably like theses pants in a color. In white, they are only good (for me) as really nice beach pants. I haven't returned them for that reason. They are well sized. Too expensive for their intended use though.

I've tried on 20+ pair of "travel" pants for an upcoming trip, and these are hands down the most comfy. These simply pull on, as the waist is elastic with an inner drawstring. I am 5'4", 142 lbs and typically take a size 10. The mediums fit perfectly. As for length, I don't consider myself short, but these look full-length, coming down to my ankles - which I prefer, actually. I took off a star because this style has belt loops that are inches below the waist, which I think is strange. I will not be tucking in my shirts, however, so that's a small issue. Fabric is very light weight. I got it in the morel color, and the stretchy top 1/2" of the waist shows white.

Who would guess that Bargain Gal, meaning moi, would ever want to wear such a fabric.
Well ladies, it's extremely comfortable. I have 6 pairs of these, 3 in black, 3 in morel. Some
are just for hiking, the others are for daily wear in the warmer months. They hang dry within hrs.
They pack small for travel. TTS Sizing. These retail for around $90.00.
I think these are a steal @ STP for around $40.00 (or less!).

Love these. I'm a Lole size 6 usually, the smalls fit great with a little extra room!. So soft, stretchy but not shapeless and no baggy knees - wish they weren't summer weight. Something to look forward to with warm weather.

I love these pants and so glad I ended up listening to the other reviewers and got 2 pairs (one black/one grey). They are extremely lightweight and comfortable and perfect for traveling (I wore them on the plane) as well as Summer/Spring/Fall pants. I'm usually between a 4-6 in size and the Smalls fit perfectly. The hidden drawstring waist allows for an easy fit. I marked it down one-star only because I didn't think I'd have to take an iron to them, but they do get a little wrinkled after washing and I felt they needed an iron. I tried both once in the drier and hanging dry -- still feel they need a quick iron. I also noticed that the other day, I put them on and they were clinging to me like static. I put some lotion on my legs and no more cling. I highly recommend...even though my husband thought they were running pants -- what does he know. I think the light herringbone fabric gives it a nice look that can be either dressed down or up.

I have a big stomach and no butt. I often think I should just put pants on backwards to accommodate these dimensions. These pants accommodate without having to do that. Extremely comfortable so that I purchased 2 pair and sent a third to my sister. She, too, ordered a second pair. Best travel pant I've ever owned and I'm old and have travelled alot.

Fabric is light weight and feels nice. Great for hiking or travel. Length is a little odd (I'm 5'6" 125 lbs). I plan to wear low on hips, in which case they are long enough to look good with hiking shoes/flats. If I were to try to wear them higher, they look like floods, or at best ill-fitting cigarette pants. I am a size 6 (sometimes 4), and I liked the way the medium lay better than the small.
