Very comfortable, don't ride, hope durable enough

Perfect for all around wear but especially great for athletic/outdoor activities. I use them for "town" use when bicycle touring; carrying a single pair is all that is needed for a month tour. Also, for ultra light backpacking they are good for a long time. You will be pleased with these boxer briefs.

I bought these for my son who will be spending 3 weeks in WY wild country on an expedition. I've heard wool can't be beat especially for it's ability not absorb yucky odors so I splurged. They ended up being incredibly soft too. And though my son doesn't care, I thought it is great that they matched the wool t-shirt we also purchased. I'm loving Sierra Trading Post!

Can wear for days without stink. Comfortable and well made. Very expensive anywhere but STP.

Very comfortable. I have not had them long enough to know how durable they are.

These are my absolute favorites. I have both these and the Icebreaker boxer briefs. Both are extremely comfortable and would highly recommend either of them but there are a couple differences. The material on these Smartwool ones is quite a bit thicker than on the Icebreaker. Also the Smartwool is longer in the legs and doesn't ride up as easy as the Icebreaker. Because of the longer leg length, I prefer the Smartwool to the Icebreaker as they don't ride up as easy on me.

Fantastic material. Enough stretch for support and ease of movement. Moisture wicking properties of the wool keep you comfortable. I m a big hiker, these boxers keep me comfortable in the cold or hot weather. Highly recommend for everyday wear too.

I have older smart wool boxers and the waist band was thin and uncomfortable. These have a nicer and wider waist band that does not dig in after hours under a pack waist belt. They are soft and itch free and move without binding. Merino does not get that synthetic funk after a few days on the trail that stinks you out of your own tent. They wick moisture almost as well as synthetics. Nothing not to love. I wear a 34" waist in pants and like how the large fits me.

I have come to expect good quality merino wool products from Smartwool over the years. I will wear these year round. These underwear are no exception. They are comfortable, Wash easily, wick moisture very well.

Snug through the upper thighs and hips. Waist slightly loose and the elastic poor. Put together, this allows the underwear to slip too easily.

I do have other Smartwool products, and these fit better. Also products from ex officio and Duluth which I prefer.
