I gave this hydration pack a 2 and not 1 because the bag itself has been pretty good. The straps and clips are not very durable, but for a daypack, the durability is fine. The design is nice and the pockets are convenient. However, the side pockets on the side strap are not a sensible size. I have not found much use in those pockets - I can only fit my keys, but there is a special clip for your keys inside. I couldn't fit a granola bar, knife, or my small camera - so I am not sure what that is supposed to be for. Overall, the look is nice and the bag is well made and looks great and is comfortable. However, do not expect to have a functional water reservoir! I Was furious at this component. It definitely was not tested. The top is "sealed" with a sliding clip. However, they do not have an end that keeps it from sliding off....... The first time I filled it up in the sink, I went to move it into my bag, and it slid right off onto my kitchen floor. I thought if I was careful moving it, It may still work if it stayed vertical in my bag and at less full. I filled the bag up to just over 1 liter (and its a 2 L pack) and went on an easy hike. Within the first 5 minutes of my hike, the top clip slid off the reservoir and wet the whole inside of my bag, and went down my back. The "included water reservoir" was the only reason I chose this bag over another company, since I thought it would save me money. However, now I have to buy a new one. I ordered two of High Sierra bags with "included" reservoirs, and both of them had the same issues - so this was not an error with one bag, but a cheap gimmick of a design to seem like you are getting additional items. Otherwise the bag has been great. If you are buying any High Sierra packs that have the included hydration packs, just keep in mind that you will need to buy a new one (there isn't a place for a water bottle, which is fine if you have a working water reservoir). But otherwise, the bag has been a great daypack

It suits my day hike needs. Has lots of zippers, clasps, etc. The fabric is pretty thin and I suspect a rain will soak the pack contents.
