I used these gloves on a -20 F degree day and they worked well for the hour I spent outside. This is impressive to me as my hands get cold very quickly and they are not rated for such temperature. However, I have not tried for a longer period than that.

They have a simple design and not too bulky, which makes them nice for driving if needed. Many times I want to throw gloves off the minute I grab the steering wheel, but these work well.

The only complaint I have is they run a little small for those with longer fingers and they are stiff. I am sure once worked in they will loosen up, which I am hoping is soon!

First time using Primaloft gloves and this brand overall impressed with the warmth and quality!

I have been trying for the past couple of years to replace my Reusch gloves I bought in the mid 1980s, to no avail. My hands used to stay warm and dry in any skiing conditions, but now that they have worn out I'm left out in the cold. These Black Diamond gloves are OK, but after a couple of hours on the slopes, on a partially sunny day with a little wind and occasional fog, I had to get my glove liners out and wear them inside these gloves to stay warm (which is what I do when wearing my old Reuschs from the '80s). Still on the lookout, but these will do for now.

I returned the gloves and traded in for mittens (with a GREAT Sierra Post Customer Service experience). While they appear warm they are very bulky.

I like the ability to place a heater pack in the glove, great on really cold days.
