I've purchased as a base layer in colder, weather (I have not put to the test yet) however the fit is beautiful, the comfort is great and the quality is there. I will update after I've used as intended.

The problem with this top is that is won't fit right unless you have very wide shoulders. The shoulders are very boxy - almost like a man's fit. The best solution is to size down. I tried to shrink mine, but I should have returned them. I also noticed extreme variation in sizes between the two that I ordered. One was super long in length and the arms (total man's fit). The other came in a box that was open and seemed to have dog hair lint on it. This one appeared to be "preshrunk". I kept it because it fit better in the shoulders.

If you have athletic or bulky arms, the top will be uncomfortable.

It's pretty fitted so order up a size if in doubt. Have worn only once but this was snow shoeing in heavy snowfall conditions with just a shell and it was perfect.

I purchased this product upon recommendation of my daughter, who suggested it after I told her I was looking for a shirt to wear at home where we do keep it a little bit chilly to save oil, that was light but very warm. I didn't want something bulky. This shirt fit the bill. It has a soft lining inside and keeps me warm without having to layer up. I wear it as a shirt looks great with jeans.

Love this shirt!! It's very warm and the inside is super fuzzy and not itchy at all. Perfect for wearing under my snowboard jacket even on the coldest days

I was really excited about having new quality base layers, but these fit funny. The racer back pulled at my broad shoulders when I moved my arms. May be good for a more slender build? I had to return them. The quality of fabric felt great.

Nice thermal layer at a great price. Well made, love the blue color, and very comfortable. And although it is 30% wool, and I'm in a relatively mild climate, it's just not as warm as 100% merino wool. I will probably use this top for spring & fall, & stick to 100% wool for the colder months.

I recently received my Terramar Thermawool base layer top and it looks and feels fantastic! It appears to be a very well made top. I will be taking this top for an upcoming backpacking trip and I expect great results as it appears to be a quality product.

I bought this base layer for running in temps -30 °F and found it a bit warm than the typical polyester/nylon base layer, which would make sense given there is Thermawool. I did wear it on top of another wool base layer so I'm thinking it would work best alone maybe under an outer layer. I doI run very warm (usually wear short sleeves for any temp about 30 °F). The fit is long in the torso to cover bottom area, which I like since most base layers are short. I bought the XL which is a bit large and I'm 5'8" at 160 weight. If I'd known I would have bought the Large, but I usually end up shrinking my clothes because I like to wash warm water (directions are to wash in cold water only). I would definitely recommend for anyone who needs a super warm base layer or shirt for any cold weather activity.

This is my first year bike commuting during the cold months. On the first below 30 degree morning I wore this base layer and was toasty warm. Wearing this I will not need as many layers as I thought I would to stay comfortable during the ride to work.
