I was skeptical about an economy waterproof hiking boot. I have never used a Hi-Tec product before, but because of a very painful problem with a too tight fitting hiking boot, and three border collies that have to go somewhere EVERY day, I bought this boot for my daily excursions. It has proven to be a excellent choice. Just today I was slogging through ankle deep slush and water and the boot was 100% waterproof. I did the same thing last night and the result was the same. Plus they are warmer than comparable products, and are rigid, but not too rigid under your foot. They fit roomy, with a wide toe box. They are very easy to get on and off, as the boot opens wide for foot insertion. They look, so I have been told, like nice boots. From the wearers perspective, when you look down, it seems like there is too much give on the inside of the shoe, a phenomenon that I have witnessed with other " economy" shoes and boots.

I really like these boots and I will try Hi-Tec products in the future. If you can find a pair I would order them.

I bought these boots for my uncle. They look and fit good. Uncle said they are great work boots (he is a builder). They are comfortable for wide feet, truly waterproof, easy to clean after work.
I bought 8,5, his feet are 10,5 inches or 26,5 cm.
Good quality for best price. Thanks STP!

Purchased for my son for hiking. He wears them to work (fiber optic installer) when it is super cold because he says they keep his feet warmer than his work boots. The only down side is they pinch his ankles when he has to stoop down at work. They work great for family hikes in Tennessee mountains.

boot fits great, seems to be very well built and should have a very short break-in if any. fits true to size, 9.5 medium width, haven't had it wet weather yet but I really like the nicely lugged sole.

My first pair lasted me four years!!!
I also usually have trouble finding a boot that fits my hobbit shaped feet. These boots have a lovely large toe box.

Heavy & the stock insole is awful (raised at the arch & also lateral foot>narrow fit) and must be replaced.

Nice looking boot... haven't had a chance to wear them yet. I am usually a 8 1/2 medium in 90% of the shoes I buy... these ran 1/2 size small for me in both width and length. Returning for a 9

I use these boots for work, and so far they are breaking in nicely.

Nice light duty hiking boot Used as a daily wear shoe, so far so good. Construction looks very good Nice that the shoe itself is leather without the 'standard' no leather toe piece that Hi-Tec has been using on a lot of the shoes Size seems true, maybe slightly on the small size No notable break in time Laces seem a bit weak but easy replacement Nice having the double hook lace
