These boots are not sized to US Womens. Not sure what they are sized to--Men's, maybe? They don't appear to be in EU sizing, but at any rate my usual size 7.5 was WAY too big. I had ordered an "8" too as back up, and that was beyond huge. If I was to do over I would probably order a 6.5 and maybe that would have fit. I was really disappointed and just sent the whole shipment back for a refund.

This is my third attempt at finding a winter boot through STP this year. The first two were well made, but sadly fit strangely. THESE however, are perfect. I walk outside 2-4+ miles every day in the winter so I need a boot that is warm, waterproof and not clunky. These are easy to walk in and very comfortable. The materials are high quality and the boot seems well made. Side zipper makes them easy to slip on and off - no intricate lacing required.

I am a fan of Jack Wolfskin and was thrilled to see the brand appear on STP. I bought these with some hesitation because the largest size offered was the 8.5, which was supposed to be a US 10. Sometimes I can wear a 10, sometimes as high as an 11, depending on the shoe. I am happy to report that these boots fit! Today is the first day wearing them, we have temperatures right at freezing here, and my feet are quite comfy. The sole was stiff at first but is breaking in quickly. Overall, I'm very happy.
I have not worn them in the snow yet, but the tread seems sufficient to provide traction. If you are looking for a good waterproof winter boot that is cute, without breaking the bank, check these out. I have a pair of Sorel's but they are very clunky, and actually have terrible traction. These JW boots are much more streamlined. Not quite as "cute" but much more useful / utilitarian- they're German!!

I wear 9-9.5 shoe, and ordered the 7.5 UK size, and they would have fit perfectly, but my heel kept slipping up and down every time I took a step, and not a small amount either. I don't know why they would do that. I would have loved to have them, they were gorgeous; had to return them. :(

They definitely run large, even after appropriately sizing for the UK sizes (I'm a 8.5 US so I ordered the 6.5). They were narrow but too long, and not very tight around the ankle so they slipped on me. They would be great if you have narrow feet, but definitely size a half size down

Haven't worn these yet as the only snow we've had came before I purchased them. They were comfortable right out of the box and true to size. I wear an 8 1/2 and can wear these with medium heavy socks on. They look well made, the inside is warm and comfy. The only factor that disappointed is the top of boot, where it hits your calf, is ribbed fabric with a velcro closure. The fit is wide for my leg (even wearing jeans) and the velcro area is so short it doesn't give you the option to adjust it much tighter. If you were to walk in deep snow seems like it could fall inside the boot.

This is a really cute style and I wish I could have like it but the fit is very very narrow. I am easily a 6.5 shoe size and my toes were so cramped I had to return them. The length was what it should have been so I didn't want to size up fearing it would be too clunky on me

love these: the look, the feel, waterproof and breatheable...and you don't have to fight to get them on. haven't worn them in the snow yet...so we'll see how they do.

These boots should keep me really warm while hiking or snowshoeing during winter months. Note the British sizing for these boots. Once you make the conversion, I would say these run true to size. I ordered a British 7 and will be able to wear a thick sock with them for warmth. I'm eager to try them in wet conditions to find out just how waterproof they are!
