First the colour is not gray but more of a suttle soft blue; looks beautiful with white! (and I do not use any blue in our home for the most part)

Rather thin material, but when washed in hot and dried in the still fits beautifully ~ a bonus.

Needed to wash with spirulina a few times to get the chemical smells out of the fabric (lots of rinsing), even smelled like polyester in the first few washes, but later when I dried it, there was no smell of polyester (nor till the end of washing). If it had it in it...I'd smell it.

The buttons were rather cheap, I took them off, but for those whom like buttons, they are clear plastic, so they do indeed go with the colour of the duvet cover.

Yes, I'd consider purchasing this again for other beds. For the price, I can understand the thinner flax material, it isn't high quality, but good quality, and rather beautiful!

Hope that helped someone out there. It is quite different sleeping under flax material...covers end up less tossed around. If you do not have flax on your sleeping area, you cannot go wrong with this purchase. Just a side note, do not use any wool on top of you with linen...the two frequencies go in the opposite direction and cancel each other out to zero. Either use wool or linen on top of you, not both. Just a little fyi. Happy sleeping!

I loved the idea of having a linen duvet cover but the color was totally wrong for me. It was described as grey which would have been great for our guest room of purples and gray but it was more like a washed out blue. It would look nice in a room of pastels or whites but any other strong color makes it look washed out.
