Closeouts. Taking its name from the Italian word for panther, Dynafit Pantera Gore-Tex® trail running shoes excel on technical runs in rocky terrain. This classically designed all-weather performer has plentiful underfoot protection and a tri-density Vibram® outsole.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Avid shopper from Iowa on Tuesday, May 3, 2016These are great shoes. I often run on gravel roads and they can get quite sloppy after a rain and dusty when it's dry. These shoes perform very well in both conditions. Also, I really like the colors.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Luna famer from Iowa on Thursday, March 24, 2016I have only had these shoes for a couple of weeks, but I have run in them every day. They are fantastic! They have a thick, firm sole and I can vouch for the waterproofing. They are working extremely well for running in very rugged, uneven terrain that includes a lot of mud and water. The shoe is wide across the pad of the foot for good splay, yet snug enough at the heel to hug my unusually narrow feet. The laces are nice and stay tied very well. I did order a half size up, following the advice of other reviewers, and am glad I did. Love these shoe! Now we'll see how they hold up over time!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by daily walker from texas on Monday, March 21, 2016in the winter i like shoes that keep the wind and water out. these not only do that but have a wonderful support. fit was true. i normally wear an 8.5 in my run/walk shoes and these fit fine. they have a stiff last but that lends to the solid support.
Reviewed by Montanagal from Montana on Thursday, March 10, 2016I usually wear an 8.5 in athletic shoes. The 8.5 fit perfectly. Have used as a court shoe (soles seem unmarking), trail running and hiking in wet weather. Couldn't be more pleased. The insole is also very supportive. Sometimes I have to replace cheap insoles, but these seem to be holding up well.
Reviewed by Sunshine from Northern Virginia on Friday, January 29, 2016Usually I wear 6.5, they did fit, but they were a tad too tight and I exchanged for size 7, (good service from STP) which I liked much better with the bonus of a little extra length too, when running or hiking downhill. I love sturdy trail running shoes for my hiking and walking, and these fit the bill. Black and waterproof can handle wet terrain well.
Great narrow, well-fitting and non-slipping heel and wide enough toe-box and nice hugging fit all around and comfortable. Wonderful sturdy arch support, which is great if you tend to pronate. I would definitely recommend these shoes, even I have not worn them outside yet....but I wear my shoes inside for quite a while to test them and I'm picky and like good quality. If any changes in my opinion, I will update.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from georgia on Wednesday, January 27, 2016Have not worn these outside to test the waterproofing. But they seem well made. Usually I'm an 8 in shoes, but sometimes need an 8.5. Needed the larger size in these.

- I normally wear size 7 for running shoes, and these fit perfectly.
Lots of toe room
- The toe area is as wide as the photo shows.
These shoes were so comfortable the moment I put them on. I was so excited to find out how they felt on the road, it inspired me to finally start my couch-to-5k training the next morning. I walked and jogged on paved and compact sand surfaces without any discomfort. The "roughest" spots on my route were broken shells, so I can't comment on how these shoes perform on rugged and raw trails.
I'm a midfoot striker, so the wide front half of the shoes allows my toes to splay naturally. I was also pleasantly surprised to feel a little bounce from the soles. It was especially helpful when my legs were feeling too heavy to lift!
As much as I love these shoes, I'm taking one star off the rating, because my pinky toes rub against the side of the shoes bad enough to make the skin feel tender. (I hope STP will approve the image I submitted to show the spot where the friction occurred.) Fortunately, I don't think blisters will develop due to the friction. I plan to wrap my pinky toes in band-aid on my next training day.
