I absolutely love merino wool socks. These are warm and comfortable.

I love these socks. They provide warmth but don't overheat your feet. So even when it warms up a little, they cool down enough to stay comfortable. I love working in these socks just for that reason. There is extra padding on the toes, the ball of your feet, and your heel, which is nice. Some socks I own will start to feel uncomfortable after you've worn them for an extended amount of time, but these socks feel perfect even if you've worn them for two days in a row. This is very important when you're out hiking or camping and want to pack light. You don't have to worry about these feeling too tight and since they are excellent at cooling down and odor control, I use them every trip I take!

These are nice but seem a little stiff, not as soft as other wool socks. A bit hard to get on because of it.

Love the look of these, no apparent reason for being 2nd's that I can see. Daughter was a little worried that they were tight on her feet, but she is also not used to socks that are made foot specific, either. Second time she wore them, no complaints.

Thought these would perform similar to smart wool socks but alas they don't have enough wool in them to perform the same way. They are not comfortable to wear due to the high percentage of polyester and they make my feet sweat unlike the smart wool socks, which do not cause my feet to sweat.

This wool socks have lower proportion of merino wool than smartwool socks, and also slightly less cushioning. The texture is slightly tigher and less elastic. I like the length which is most versatile for skating, skiing etc.

Really like these socks, they have a really good fit, nice cushioning, and are a nice mid to light weight sock. I bought them to wear on mild to cool days, when it is a little too warm for true mid weight wool socks, and these work great. They are relatively thin, though definitely not ultra light. I find them to be great for temps in the 50's and 60's, even upper 40's.

I will probably buy a couple more pairs, I already have two, they are really versatile socks.

I have ankle boots, so I ordered these socks to come up
about as high as my boots. The socks are dense! Hefty!
'Cause we know "winter is coming". I held back from giving
    the socks a "5" because I haven't yet worn/washed them.
