Socks advertised with minor to no flaws, however they had 100's of snags. Sierra Trading Post should be embarrassed to sell these. I intended to give these as a gift but could not due to the condition they were in.

Several years ago I purchased several pairs of Lorpen socks from STP and overtime they had small holes wore in the toe end of the socks from daily wear. I still have the Lorpen socks but only wear them while camping. The style and color has been sold out at STP. I recently purchased the Bridgedales Doite Summit socks and like the quality and wear them daily. I like the cushney feel and how they keep my feet dry.

This is the second pair of Dolte socks. I've trained with them doing 10 mile hikes and took them on a six-day trip into the Grand Canyon. Yet the right amount of cushion and support without bulk. They are soft and wick well.

No pilling after several uses and washings. Great sock.

I used this sock while training for and during a six day Grand Canyon outing. Strong, comfortable and soft.

Wash them inside out and dry on low. They have held up to demanding treks for days on end. Better wear than most of the other merino wool socks on the market I've tried.

Too thin and lack cushion for cold weather hiking so I have yet to try them but they appear to be well made.
