Good shoes. But when I received the package, the shoes were covered with dust. I'm not satisfied with the insoles, insoles are only half, and there are quality problems (where the glue off).

9 1/2 true to size Beautiful leather and sole is very cushiony. These will be my warm weather favorites The only negative is that the inside sole is glued in so I will probably be replacing it.

The craftsmanship, quality and superior design are immediately evident upon opening the box. This shoe is in my personal Tope 5 (I may buy a second pair to have if these ever wear out).

I have had many boat shoes over the years and these are clearly the best. The handcrafted shoes are much nicer than the photo. I have a slightly narrow foot and these fit perfectly. I hope they last forever.

I looked into these for a while but they were always too expensive at retail. There's a great video online which shows how these are beautifully made in Maine at the highland shoe factory. Amazing to find them here at Sierra and a great deal. $330 was a bit steep for these but it's expensive to have things produced domestically and these were hand made. Rumor is that due to cost, they won't be doing the "made in Maine" in the future. Get them while you can! love mine.

The shoe has nice outer leather. They are well constructed. My biggest objection is that they have no inner lining at all, just the inside of the outer leather. This leaves them a bit thin and not as firm or sturdy as one would expect from an oxford (tie) type shoe, as opposed to a slip on boat shoe.

The shoes look good and were obviously well built with quality materials/leather. The outsole was very soft (what ever it's made of.) so that made walking in the shoes very comfortable because there was a lot of natural cushion with each step. These are truly comfortable shoes. However I prefer my shoes to be more stable because I tend to walk on the outside of my feet.... and since the outsoles were so soft, my feet didn't feel like they had a stable platform. I would say I'm an 11/12 in most boots and quality shoes. Some shoes like Clarks I am exactly a 12. I ordered the 12 in the Sperry and had to send it back for a 13. The shoe was pretty narrow, I have a wide foot but that considered, they were still on the narrow side. I suggest ordering up if you have a wide foot. 13 fit great.
