I am X Large or Large usually...this Large is huge. But the shirt is soft and great --only paid $7 or so for it...

This sweater is soft and comfy for lounging and casual wear. Runs large. I am 5'4", 160 lbs. Size large was very roomy. Washes well. My go-to, throw-on sweater.

The sweater is soft and comfy. On my first few wearings, it turned my bra purple, but after about two washes, the color no longer rubbed off on my other clothing. It is long, like the picture, and covers my back end:)

I found this a bit large for my usual size, but it has such a lovely feel, and looks nice anyway. I will be careful to wash it by hand and dry it flat as others have commented that the fibers come out in the dryer.

This sweater is prettier in person with a depth of color and it is soft, light and warm. But out of the package it leaves a bit of dust, so I washed it by itself. No problem. Then I put it by itself in a low dryer. DISASTER! The sweater left a coating on the non-steel parts of the dryer drum. And the lint filter was coated with lint so fine that it couldn't be removed by hand. The interior of the dryer and the filter had to be cleaned out with a vacuum. The sweater seems fine now, but I will continue to wash it alone and NEVER put it in the dryer again.

I wish my experience had been the same as the other reviewers! I ordered this in purple and brown, hoping they would be soft, loose, comfy wear-around-the-house layers for winter. The purple one was significantly tighter in the sleeves/shoulders than the brown; the brown one was comfortably loose but had hanging yarn ends at the neckline and a 2" hole in the body. At STP's excellent price with coupon this might be worth a gamble, but only if you don't mind the possibility of having to return.

I had bought a cheaper version of this sweater last year and was looking to buy more. THIS sweater is made much nicer, is roomier in the arm holes (essential if you are going to layer it) and the arm length as well. I bought both the black and the dark plum (or purple) and there is very little difference in the color. The black is almost like a dusky, dark, eggplant. The dark purple is very rich and brighter. Both are very soft. Quite pleased with this purchase.

What a great, comfortable sweater. Seems true to size. I've laundered the sweater and it still feels great. I ordered the purple, and I really can't tell it is purple--looks like it could be black. So, great sweater, but if color is important, order with caution.
