Very stylish, but I wish a larger size was available. It definitely ran small, especially in the arms which makes it uncomfortable. It was also a bit too lightweight for my liking.

Someone else mentioned that the sleeves are skinny on this jacket. My arms are thin, so I didn't mind the snug fit, but this would not be comfortable on someone with bigger arms. The long fit is flattering, but also snug. It kept me warm on cool mornings, and has deep pockets inside and out.

This was just what I was looking for in a winter jacket for Arizona. The length was great and the fleece inside was warm and soft. Only problem was the fit. I am a solid size 12 (with a 38 bust) and this is labeled 12-14. On me, the shoulders of the parka and the upper arms were very tight with just a T-shirt on so there is no way I could wear anything thicker underneath. I sure wish this came in an X-large but then it might be too long. Again, disappointed.

Fabric has a little too much sheen for me, but the real problem is the fit. The arms are ridiculously tight. I'd never wear it, so it's going back.

I love this thing! Mountain Hardwear NEVER disappoints, and this long layer is no exception! I wear with nice thick cotton leggings or jeggings. Someone remarked about the shiny material, but it's not that shiny, at least in the gray color. I happen to be wearing it today. Adorable. Get it!

I bought two of these jackets in different colors. They are simply awesome. Went hiking in Sedona yesterday and discovered two interior pockets that held our water bottle for the hike without impacting my ability to hike up steep mountain grades. I just love Mountain Hardwear for functionality and style, and these jackets are no exception. Great, great stuff!

I am so happy that STP is getting so many great Mountain Hardwear items! This parka doesn't disappoint, either! I got it in the ebony blue/midnight color and it's beautiful! It is lightweight enough for me to wear around the house with leggings but I can also do errands around town. I echo the other reviewers that the arms are very tight so it is mostly suitable for short-sleeves or tank tops underneath. The arms are long but I think that is because there are supposed to be thumb holes in the cuffs. I think it might have been mislabeled closeouts instead of 2nds?? The hood isn't too loose as some often are, which is good since there is nothing to cinch it up. It is very figure-flattering and feels very good to wear. The fabric does not catch on rough skin or hang-nails, for those who might have sensory issues. All in all, a great piece of clothing at STP's usual great prices. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was because it didn't have the thumb holes as described.

    Returned!
Fabric does not give/ stretch. The arms are VERY tight.

I really like the fit of this piece, the sleeves are nice and long which is a benefit for me as I have long arms. I wish the fabric was a little nicer, it is slightly shiny which I don't really like and the stitching is not well done. For the price I would recommend it as it is a great everyday coverup for the gym or casual wear
