Mountain Hardwear Zenell Trench Coat (For Women)
Closeouts. A packable, water-resistant windshell, Mountain Hardwear's Zenell Trench Coat delivers great breathability for the busy urban traveler. Roll it up and stow it away until the weather turns; the memory-woven, wrinkle-resistant fabric springs back to life at a moment's notice.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by An-Chi the Hiker from Brooklyn on Wednesday, January 11, 2017I like the jacket since it's light weight, and the sleeves have extra cover to block out the water or wind. I would bring this jacket when I travel oversea for easy packing and it's functionality.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by TNCanuck from Knoxville, TN on Tuesday, November 22, 2016Was looking for a water resistant coat for travel, and this is perfect. Love the big pockets for dropping phones/cameras etc. into (I don't like carrying purses). I got the tan color, and its a nice, expensive looking
Verified Buyer Reviewed by meh9 from NY on Monday, September 5, 2016Love the casual style of this jacket paired with technical capability - great for travel. As stated in description, it is not waterproof, but water does bead off it nicely in a light rain. I may try treating this one with a waterproofing solution to make it a little more water resistant. Fit is true to size. I am 5'7" 125lb and a small fits great with room for layers under it. Only taking a star off because the placement of the cargo style pockets in the front seems a little awkward to me when the jacket is zipped up. I've mostly been wearing it open and I think it's less obvious in black so it doesn't bother me much.
Reviewed by NancyinRuralPA from PA on Tuesday, August 30, 2016I figured I'd give this a try even without any reviews to rely on. The quality is top notch. Nice fabric, two way zipper, big pockets with zipped side entry and button top entry, inside pocket, stretchy cuffs inside the sleeves, nicely finished seams. Lovely. Not wild about the brown color online, but in person it's an attractive neutral that will be fine any time of year, with a fall or spring scarf if you like some color (I do!). However, the sizing was a bit off. I normally wear a 10/M, but the medium in this was small on the top (and I am not large chested). I reordered the large and it fits much better, with room for a sweater or fleece. The bottom is roomy, but if you adjust the bottom strings, it's fine. (Those strings are the only things I don't like - it looks like you have a double tail! But I'll pin them up and they'll be OK.) I highly recommend this jacket, once you get the right size!
