Reviewed by Agility addict from TX on Monday, May 23, 2016This is a lovely light, breathable wool tank with wide straps for better coverage. The "aloe" color was lighter than I expected from the photo. Do note that this is a longer tank, going well past the hip bones with nearly full rear coverage on my 5'5"/140 lb frame (I wear a medium.) Like many Icebreaker products, the wool is very fine and thin, making it sheer even with a neutral bra, so I'm only going to wear it around the house.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Pipeline from Oklahoma on Tuesday, March 29, 2016I have several of these tanks from Icebreaker and I wear them every day...I mean every day. The fit is excellent. I ordered a large. I am 5'6" and weigh approx 140, larger bone structure. Fits nicely. I wash them inside a mesh bag on delicate cold cycle and NO dryer. Hang and they launder perfectly. This is a staple in my wardrobe during every season.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by kate from boston on Tuesday, March 15, 2016I like this top quite a bit. It IS somewhat see-through, however, because the wool is thin. I will use it for kayaking as it will still be comfortable when damp. I am 5'9", 155 pounds and small bosomed. Large fit comfortably.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Cycling mom from Michign on Monday, September 14, 2015I love Icebreaker. The material of this shirt is great, lightweight, a nice staple. However, I am a petite 5ft, 90 lb woman and this was too baggy on me. Unfortunately it is going back.
I find that the icebreaker siren or body fit lines fit me. However, I did get the tech lite v-neck dress and it fits well and I love it. Icebreaker sizing seems to vary a lot.
I gave it three stars because material is great, but sizing not consistent.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by FED from Twin Cities on Sunday, August 23, 2015This tank is slightly more fitted than some of the other Icebreaker tops I own, which works well since I have a very small waist and most of the T-shirts feel really baggy. If you are very apple shaped, this top may be work for you. The material is very lightweight and breathable, not see-through because of the black color. Washes well/ I am 5'6" 132lbs and wear a medium which is neither clingy nor too loose
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Molly from Avon, CO on Wednesday, August 19, 2015Bought a few different black tank tops to try and replace a favorite and this one is now my go to. Flattering cut and amazing that it's wool. Washes beautifully.
Reviewed by Judy hiker from NYC on Wednesday, August 5, 2015I love, love love, this tank and just ordered three more! I am 5' , 110 lbs, and have a good sized, but not overly large bust ( 32D).
The top has a nice scoop neckline, but does not show my bra or cleavage. The straps are wide enough to cover my bra straps- my bra straps need to be a little wide to help support the girls- and the armhole is wide enough to be non constrictive, but again, does not show my bra. Also the straps are not so wide set that they slip around my shoulders.
The torso is not form fitting- it fits just like the torso of the tech lite tee, which is nice if you want a little air when hiking or climbing. I found that I could tuck it into my shorts or pants if I want a neater look and the looser torso still has an easy fit but is not voluminous.
Couldn't ask for a better fit!
