This is my first pair and although I am still breaking in these shoes I think in going to really like them. They are just as comfortable as I had heard which is the primary reason I bought them. My other concern is the dense rubber tread on the heel which protects the lighter more cushiony upper part seems very thin compared to other running shoes and this is wear where I wear out shoes first. If it does wear out quickly I will be so disappointed. But for now they seem like a very good running shoe which impress me.

There are my second pair of Hoka's. I am like these as much as my first pair. Light with tons of cushion while feeling like the right toe to heel balance.

Like to do interval training and the Hoka's fit snug around the ankle while allowing plenty of foot room. Best show I have worn for the sprinting drills. Nice padding and still feel secure and without too much of a pillowy feel that I found with my Altra's... The slight drop is also better for me than a zero drop..

Standard laces, big toe box, and lots of forefoot and rear cushion.

I have only owned one other pair of Hoka - the Mafate 2. Love them, phenomenal shoe. The Odyssey seemed well made but I ordered same size length and width as the Mafate and it was just way too narrow. Ironic considering the Mafate was almost too wide. Not giving up on the brand unless all models are this narrow. I see they do make wide sizes - I just haven't found any in wide yet and I'm a sale shopper not full retail.

I have been wearing Mizunos for several years, and thought I'd never change. But sore feet, knees and hips motivated me to research, and ultimately try Hokas. Wow, am I glad I did! After a couple runs I increased my old distance by 1/3, and ended up with far less soreness than I did in my Mizunos. These run true to size (9.5 for me), and with narrow feet, they work well with my orthotics. The only down side for me is the thin construction on the top of the shoe and tongue... both are very thin and do not hold your foot very well. So I wear a bit thicker sock and they are fine. I feel no road shock or vibration with these, and I am once again looking forward to my run days. And with STP's prices, you can't go wrong trying them!

Great fit even for EEE width in 11.5. I'm 6' and 260, most comfortable shoe I've found for big runner.

True to size, amazingly light. You have to try Hokas to understand them. They are good for most types of running, minus speed work. I'm over 200 lbs, so I get more compression from the shoes than someone weighing less.

The Odyeesys are a light comfortable shoe. Been having Cali problems for 10 years, since wearing the Odysseys I haven't had any problems. The only issue the tongue is a little to thin, doesn't sit well on foot. They wear a little quickly on outside heel so I have been shoe guing them, seem to work. Sierra Trading Post has the best price for them and great costume service. Highly recommend the for people with foot, leg, hip and knee issues!
