I ordered the medium, which fits me in most clothing that is sized small, med and large. Maybe it was supposed to fit that way, but it looked like a bathrobe on me. The wool did feel nice, and the knit pattern was pretty.

Liked the sweater so much a bought a second color which fit the same.I normally wear a large (38 in. bust) and the overall fit is amply roomy without being voluminous. I do like the versatility of charcoal and beige colors. The sleeves came just to my wrist. I am 5ft 6in. Excellent with boots and leggings. The XL (size 16) would definitely have been too big.

I purchased one in each color, the sleeve length was shorter on one than the other. Niether could be rolled as shown in the picture. The model must have short arms . . . On a positive note the sweaters are a terrific weight and nice colors. I plan to keep both.

I am 5'7" 130 lbs. I purchased the medium in the beige color. The medium was too big and the beige was more like a grey cement color. As other reviewers said, the yarn is rough. However, I really like the long wrap style and could see it keeping me warm on chill, fall days. I exchanged for a size small and the charcoal.

This is a beautiful, substantial sweater. I purchased the Small, and while the body was very large, the sleeves came almost up to my elbow - they were actually a 3/4 length sleeve. I tried adjusting the sweater as pictured, but it was pretty much off my shoulder to get the sleeves to get closer to my wrists. I do have longer arms, but not 8 inches longer than other women's arms.

This is a seriously warm sweater! It has beautiful non-itchy wool with a bit of bouncy stretch. It's become my new old friend.

I have been wanting a Peregrine cardigan since I first saw them here on STP several years ago; always hesitated because of the cost as well as concerns about fit and style (I like chunky sweaters, but prefer the length to fall at lower hip or below. This is the first longer version I have seen, and when it went on sale, I decided to order it, and I am very happy with my purchase. This is a heavy and substantial sweater--warm and very well constructed, and it should last me for years. I do think it runs a bit large--it is roomy through the torso but not over-sized enough for me to want to try exchanging for a smaller size. I am a bit of an apple shape, though, so I think a slim woman might need to size down. I bought this in XL, but will probably try L next time. I got the grey and it is lovely, a soft dark shade of charcoal--very flattering. The only thing I don't like is that I find the pocket placement a little low. In the picture, the models hands fit comfortably in the pockets, but I am only 5'4" and I find that my finger tips only reach to about mid-pocket--not a big deal for me really, but this sweater might not work for a petite woman, at least in the larger sizes.
