Verified Buyer Reviewed by 1CivilEngineer from Virginia on Thursday, April 28, 2016I'm recovering from a broken lower leg, and was looking for boots that would support my still weak ankle, and be able to fit my swollen foot now and after I heal up. I purchased 2 different boots from STP - this pair in a size 10 (my normal size), and a pair of Zamberian Casual Boots in a 10.5. When they arrived, I tried on the other pair first, and was very please at the quality, fit & comfort. When I opened these, I noticed they have no internal padding or lining, and I didn't think they would be comfortable, but I was very wrong!
These boots fit both my "good" foot and my still swollen foot equally well (when laced tight, the boot eyelets on the normal foot are close to touching, on the other foot, they are 1.5" apart).
These feel like custom made boots! I've worn them exclusively since I got them, and have not had any blisters or sore spots anywhere. The stitching and attention to detail is excellent, and the boots look great. The waxed laces stay tied! The only issue with the boots is getting used to the smooth soles (the heels have non-slip rubber, but the primary soles are smooth leather). My wife says these would be good dancing shoes!
Reviewed by Nash from Nashville on Friday, February 26, 2016Listen here, this horween leather is the real deal. A pack of wolves followed the UPS truck to my house. The house now smells like a steak - a dang good one. Serious, these boots look great and appear to be of super high quality. The arch support is, if anything, a little on the high side, for those of you with flat feet. They run a little big. I typically wear an 11.5, but I bought and 11 in these. They fit great. I will warn those of you who forgot that cows aren't all the same skin tone that the roughed out leather panels are slightly (but noticeably) different in color. Get over it. If you're concerned about buying these - don't be. If you're concerned about the wolves, jump into these boots - those pups will immediately recall their place on the food chain.
