Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Verified Buyer Reviewed by TraciInVA from Virginia on Tuesday, February 16, 2016While I sometimes vary between 8.5 and 9 for flats, especially, I definitely needed the smaller 8.5 for this shoe. Ordered the 9 at first and had to return. So glad I did---after a wear or two, I'm sure the leather will stretch a bit and the 8.5 will be perfect. For reference, my foot is just barely under 10" long from heel to toe, and I have a narrow-to-medium width foot. These shoes are just a tad snug now, but not uncomfortable. Looking forward to wearing these for quite a while.
Reviewed by Kate from Seattle on Wednesday, February 3, 2016These ballet flats are chic and comfy- a good staple for any wardrobe! I ordered a 6.5 which is my usual size and these fit well. I have a fairly normal foot - regular width, no specific needs. I did break them in around the house. My standard technique is setting them on the register to warm up and then wearing them with hiking socks to stretch out a tiny bit. The inside has a nice little cushion but like most flats, no real "arch support" which is fine by me - I hate having a hug lump of an arch under my foot. These seem to have nice traction with the sole under the ball of the foot being a little bit of a sticky material. I've had other flats with leather soles that would slip and slide all over some surfaces. The heel on these is cute and minimal.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Elsabae from Maine on Sunday, November 29, 2015These were nicely made but the heel was sloppy on me so they had to go back. I walked right out of them. The length was fine so it seemed to be an issue of the cut, rather than the size.
