They were too short, not very comfortable in the sole, and I didn't like the look of the soles. Was not inspired to try the next size up, as it would be too wide for me.

These shoes are comfortable out of the box. The heal feels slightly loose but it doesn’t affect my walking and I’ve gotten to where I don’t notice it now. I’ve been wearing them for work ( as a server) for a week now and am very happy with them! They seem good quality as well.

These offer solid leather workmanship and versatile style with jeans or dress pants. Black color has slight sheen but not overly glossy. Size 39 works for my 7-1/2 to 8 feet. The leather is initially stiff but softens and molds to the foot with wear while staying durable. Fantastic sole and footbed support. Comfortable to wear all day at work or walking around the city.

These look nice with jeans or dressier pants, you could even wear them with a skirt. I wore them all day 2 days after they arrived.

I avoid man made materials because they don't tend to conform to your foot and don't last as long. When I tried it on, my foot was unstable in the shoe and the heal was too loose. At first I thought it would be resolved with a heal hugger insert. I tried that, but I could tell that my foot was still shifting in the shoe. The orthotic insert was not supportive enough, which is almost always the case for me. So I removed the orthotic and the heal hugger, then inserted a new high quality orthotic which keeps my foot stable and my arch supported. It's comfortable now and I know I will enjoy wearing the shoes for as long as the sole holds up. The leather will outlast the sole for sure.

Although these were made in India, they're clearly constructed based on a European foot last, rather than the uber wide fit from toe to heel like most shoes from China. I have always had great luck with this brand. Nice soft leather, supportive, and they look great. True to size - I normally wear a 6 1/2 M, and the size 37 fit perfectly.
