Comfortable Wide Toe-Box Shoe

This is my third pair of Romika shoes, and I have found all of them to be of very high quality. The leather is beautiful and they have been comfortable right out of the box for me. They don't tend to have a lot of padding on the footbed or very aggressive arch support, but somehow they are just very easy on the feet for prolonged periods. Easy to add an orthotic or different insole, if needed. This particular pair has a much wider toebox than my other two styles, and would probably be an excellent choice for people who have problems with their toes or even Morton's Neuroma. Although the toebox is quite roomy, I have very average width feet and did not find the instep or heel to be wide or sloppy, even though I have a size 7 foot and have to order the 38 in European sizes which is probably closer to a 7 1/2. I bought them for comfort over style, so I can't really complain that they are not the "cutest" or most stylish shoes in my collection. I jokingly call them my "clown shoes" because of how big and round the front of the shoe looks compared to other styles, but they do have a little more refined style to them than a pair of runners, which was what I was after. Overall, very happy with them. I haven't put in a long day of extensive walking in them yet, but I've worn my other Romikas all across Europe and for full days at places like Disneyland, sometimes putting in 15 miles a day, so I expect that these will be up to a full dahy on the feet, too. They are definitely in the running for a future trip to Europe! Great price here at Sierra Trading Post, too.
