Really purchasing the second one is all my fault. I didn't follow the washing directions- do not put this in the washing machine!! Hand wash it! -
The shirt is a little longer than expected, which I am happy with. A good mix of solid shirt and see through along back and arms.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Really cute, fit is a bit odd

Really cute western-ish tee that is prettier in person - the raw seams are nicely-done, and the fabric is a heavier slub with a nice texture. I love Roper's tops because their size small is actually small but not too short, so the sleeve length is as shown. Unfortunately, this shirt flares at the bottom in a way that is not shown on the model. It's partly the intended style, but it wasn't executed exactly right. As in, I am on the small side but very very pear-shaped and unless I do an artful front tuck this shirt fits me like a tent. That's okay for me since I wear fancy belt buckles and didn't want to deal with a return. Ladies with slimmer hips or who aren't very tall could try sizing down. If you are fuller-figured overall your true size might also give you a better fit.

Overall this is a well fitting, cute shirt. The only drawback are the sleeves are really long. I have to roll them up several inches which looks kinda silly. It's rare that I hem sleeves on shirts, but I might with this one.

About Roper

Roper apparel and boots hit the fashion scene more than fifty years ago, striding into the spotlight with the confidence of an old Western gunslinger. Rugged boots and dependable western wear soon gave them a name among bronc-busting cowboys and rodeo goers. It wasn't long before dude ranch vacationers were taking home their piece of the Old West and spreading the Roper name. As the popularity of traditional ranch wear grew, Roper expanded to include sassy styles for genuine cowgirls and those who simply wanted to be. Today you can outfit every member of your family in Roper boots and apparel, from the littlest cowpoke to the oldest range rider.
