Most Helpful 4-Star Review
Reviewed by SRA from Breckenridge, Colorado on Sunday, December 22, 2013The major benefit of these bindings is that they can be positioned for different sizes of boots and different balance points; i,e., they are mounted on a NIS plate which is affixed to the ski. This flexibility means that these bindings can be moved on the ski to accommodate different skiers and different snow conditions. This is a major positive and the re-positioning can be done easily using the key included with the bindings for this purpose.
The principal negative is that the bindings are manual, so must be engaged by bending down to the binding and snapping the locking mechanism over the toe bar. In contrast, automatic bindings can be engaged/disengaged while standing up with the aid of a ski pole.
